What's the most creative way you have dealt with an idiotic team player?

We've all played with them; those idiots that seek only to ruin the fun of their teammates. You know, the teamkiller, vehicle thief, the chat/emote spammer, and that little kid who enjoys screaming obscenities through the mic. We all hate them, and I'm sure we have all had to combat them at one time or another. However, there are ways of dealing with them that can be fun for all - Clever, inventive ways of dealing with that smart-ass (short of banning/kicking them).

So, share your storie(s)!

What was the most creative way you have dealt with problematic teammate?

My favorite came from a game of warfare (ArmA multiplayer) I played a few years ago.

There was a guy who was running over all of our AI controlled infantry units with an M113 as they spawed out of the barracks and generally just wreaking havoc. After a few minutes of simply tolerating his idiocy, I got a brilliant idea and consulted with out team's commander. I played along with this guy's games and suggested that we foil our team's assault on an enemy held town to the north. He was skeptical at first, but soon I talked him into getting into a blackhawk that I was piloting. I took off, and headed west... WAYYYYYYY West.

For those who are not familiar with ArmA, the maps in the game are literally the size of, well... A small country because thet's exactly what they are.

At any rate, I flew this pesky fellow west, turned sharply north, and then dropped him off about 3 to 4 kilometers north of our HQ. He thought I was going to get out and come with him, since between me and a few other teammates we had him convinced that we would meet him there. Instead, I took off and flew back to our HQ; leaving him all by himself a ridiculously long way away from home base. He spammed the chat for the next few minutes before he attempted to walk that 3 to 4 kilometers back to civilization (over mountains, hills, and even through a small desert). He never made it back. He quit out of frustration, and the rest of us were able to play as normal.

On mw2, playing free for all and there were two boosters right below my sniping position. Even after i had killed them they kept coming back, oblivious to my presence. Totally deserve it though and it was hilarious.

I only play split-screen/LAN games so I tend to favor the good old threaten their existence with something sharp if they don't stop being an ass. I pause if I can and glare at them menacingly.

I was in a pug groups in WoW as a prot warrior, and we had a non-frost death knight who *insisted* that he should tank. He would try to fight me for aggro, and draw in groups too early. After a hurried conference via whispering, we started letting him draw in enemies, only to run far, far away as soon as the fighting started.

While playing MAG a while back some guys with mikes where being douches so I began a vote to kick one of them and that guy started freaking out screaming "WHO THE HELL IS TRYING TO KICK ME!". I just alternated between them until they left swearing obscenities like they had just stubbed their toes on a furnace. It was hilarious.

Got an annoying trash talker on the back of a warthog in halo 3. I backed up to a cliff with him still in the vehicle. If he decided to get out he would plummet to the bottom. I sat there and watched as he swore at our team for another minute before quitting.

I hunted them down, and murdered them.

Bad Company?

In Bad Company, I just hit them with a target (a light that lets you auto-hit it) or I plant C4 OR! I run them over.

Well, I play as Clown on SS13, and it's kinda my job to grief (at least in ways that don't break the ship).
So, I was clowning around, and these guys, fed up, tie me to a chair and force vodka down my throat for five minutes. Then they drag me to genetics, and shove me in the machine- making me deaf. Finally, they weld me into a locker, and leave me in the middle of a hallway, where I am eventually spaced. By the Janitor, oddly.

I used to get annoyed when people would hop in the warthog gunner and not shoot anyone so i used to just drive off the cliff and get out just before watching them plummet to their death. Awsum

"What's the most creative way you've dealt with a problematic teammate?" sounds like a job interview question.

Who says gamers don't learn interpersonal and leadership skills from our hobby?

TF2. Camping Snipers. Get a pyro to spray fire directly in their line of sight and the enemy will just kill them repeatedly, as they can't see a thing.

In Battlefield: Bad Company I often spawned on snipers who did nothing at the back of the map just so I could shoot them in the face with a tracer gun. That way they couldn't see anything due to the red flash of the tracer.

I've pulled a Wile Coyote on a few. You know, either lead them to a cliff or a pack of enemies and then get out of the way and let the shit storm hit.
