For me, the thing that sort of 'threw me off' the most must have been another moment in Oblivion, near the end of the Dark Brotherhood questline.

It's the moment you walk in to the farmhouse to meet <can't remember guy's name>, and find the other four members of the Black Hand who've strung his mutilated corpse upside down from the roof.
Sure, the graphics aren't great, but the scene as a whole hit me pretty hard, especially since I didn't notice 's body hanging there until I'd been in the building for quite a while.
