Don't know anything specific to far back (though I would like too), but my mother was born in Taunton, Somerset in the south of England, while her father was born near there, but her mother was born in Edinburgh (Scotland, obviously), like my Dad and his dad (and my sister and I too), and his mother was born a small town called Armadale.

My family/clan motto is apparently 'Robore prudentia praestat', or 'Prudence excels strength', and our crest is a lion rampant with a raised sword.

And far enough back my paternal grandfathers, and maternal grandmothers families where border reivers, with the latter still having a chief and their ancestral castle.

I am 1/2 Southern American -turned Central American- turned Chicana. They started somewhere in South America made their way to Calif. over the generations. I am also 1/4 german. And 1/4 French, but they moved to Ireland in the French Revolution before making their way to America. So let's go with 1/4 Frishland?

Well, on my mother's side I'm related to every horse thief on this side of the Mississippi.

My dad moved here from Ireland forty something years ago, and that's all I know on his side.

Welsh as far as I know though it doesn't matter to me because all caucasians are Russian, we all hail from the causcaus mauntains in mordern day Russia.
You don't actually believe that, I hope...
Well I was made privy to this information via the human genome project so I'll believe it untill someone find evidence to the contrary, do you have any evidence that might disprove it?

I'm Canadian born, living on the west coast, and my ancestry is 1/2 Dutch (mother's side), 1/4 English and 1/4 Irish (father's side). Family rumours suggest possible Jewish descent on my mother's side, but nothing concrete has been confirmed.

I'm pretty much close to 100% Celtic Irish, with a tiny bit of Celtic Scots thrown in. Not a drop of English blood in me!

I should know, my dad hired a genealogist to trace it back as far as the records go.

Incidentally, I'm actually descended from the O'Neills and the O'Rourkes, two families who at differing times were the high kings of all of Ireland. Which is nice.
Well, that would likely make you a Gael rather than a Celt. They were a different people, albeit culturally (and genealogically) related.

I'm part Viking (All man!) I'm not sure what else is in there, but most of the distinguishing characteristics come from that.
I thought the Gauls were from what is now modern day France?

Anyway, I'm English, Irish, Dutch, German, Cherokee Indian and my family lived in the southern US before the Civil War so...apparently there is some African too and that was when the curly hair integrated itself into the family. Then a good chunk of the family moved north.

I'm.. let's see... Swedish, Swedish, Swedish-American, and my grand-grand-grandfather something on my mother's side was Russian, although I'm not entirely sure about that. Oh, and guess what? I live in Sweden. Yeah, might be a little inbred.

It's a complex story. But I'm currently living in Britan, but my mother was Canadian, and father Icelandic. And apparently my Icelandic side can be traced down to Eric the Red. Part Viking too, then!
I'd still say I'm more Viking than you :p
Nah the Danes and Norwegians are the real Vikings (mostly Danes lol) (i'll leave it up to you to guess where i'm from)

As my grandparents were mostly Afrikaans I have some Dutch in me, But the original settlers from whom I get my surname (du Preez) are the French Huguenots. I brag of this because there is a plaque with all the French Huguenots inscribed on it at my local park. My surname is on a landmark! And it is genuine ancestry! (I looked it up, kinda tedious)

(I'm an Irish born, British citizen, currently living in London.)

I know for a fact, becasue my great uncle never shuts up about it, that i'm a direct descendant of some Viking warlord type called Oscgarir (my family name was for many many centuries O'sacgersun, meaning son of Oscgarir, until the family moved to Ireland, when it was legaly changed to Cosgrave). It was, for some mad reason, made a family tradition for all grown men to get an odd Nordic rune tattooed onto their arms, mines on my left shoulder, and it's fucking ugly, the flowery border around is lovely though.

(yes that does mean a great number of my forebears were both rapists and murderers)

So i'm; Angelo-Irish-Norwegian/Danish-????-????-????-????- African-monkey

Gael and gaul are different
Gaelic is a language spoken in Ireland (I think)
Gaul are French barbarians
