For purposes of unwinding, I lately boot up Crystal Defenders on PS3 (Square Enix's tower defense game) and see how far I can get this time before getting curb stomped.

I don't really have one nowadays, but they used to be Burnout Paradise, GTA IV and Prince of Persia.

Peggle recently, but it's becoming an addiction I fear.
IT's like fucking crack man...

That and Viva Pinata:TIP I love luring animals to my place and then getting them to live there. (That last sentence sounds a little creepy... I assure you I like Chewnicorns only as Chewnicorns).

Whenever I start getting stressed out or feel down, I end up playing Hearts of Iron 2. There's something quite relaxing about knowing exactly what to research, what to build and what events happens on what day. I can just take my mind off of other things and take over the world in peace.

I would have to say either Skate 2, which is more of a relaxed style of gameplay, or Assassin's Creed II, because I seem to take some sort of sadistic pleasure in preying on the unsuspecting guards posted on the rooftops...

Skate 2, I love just skating about and doing simple tricks without really concentrating on what I'm doing too much.

Team Fortress 2, its pretty easy to just unwind and blast away a few hours having fun.

LocoRoco...just beacuse its great, simple, happy fun.

Rock Band / Guitar Hero drums. Nothin' like a good rhythm game to get you out of the rhythm of a shitty day.

God of War COO for me, although lately it's been driving me up the wall now that I've been trying to finish it over god mode.

To unwind/relax, lately it's been Forza 3, though Trapt and Dead Rising are great ways to slaughter things on those days when everything's going so bad that I need to make something digital die.

As a go-to game, it'd have to be either Chrono Trigger or Suikoden 2.
