Whats your Favorite Anime or Manga

My favorite is one piece because it was the first anime I really started watching and the characters in the show are great. I was mad this past weekend when there wasn't a new one piece, it just put me in a bad mood.
Honorable mentions are: Code Geass, Clannad, Baccano, and Death Note.

I don't have a specific favourite (though I usually say FLCL). I really liked reading Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (a sci-fi about an android who owns a coffee shop in an idealic, post-apocolyptic rural Japan) and Yotsuba&(a slice of life tale about an irrepressable five year old girl).
As for anime, I haven't especially liked one since seeing Ponyo at the cinema. Anime tends to feel too immature for my tastes now. I actually prefer ones aimed at girls now, like Ouran Highschool club (a gender-bending story set in highschool), or Axis Powers Hetalia (the history of the world, told through characters who embody their national stereotypes).

My absolute favourite would be the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Anime, also known by the misleadingly exploitative translated title When they Cry. It is a horror mystery gem that I find is just plain awesome [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Higurashi-no-Naku-Koro-ni]!
A very close second would be Spice & Wolf, with Baccano! third as of now.

I am torn between Ghost in the Shell, Gundam Wing, and Blue Submarine #6. I like the sci-fi and mecha animes.
Manga? Sadly haven't read none at all. (No need to tell me what I'm missing.
Anime? One Piece. It's the only anime I've consistently watched.

Not that much of manga experience. But from anime: Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Trigun. Those three are a must on my top list (for now).
