Francium, because it's so ironic.
Francium has the lowest electronegativity of all elements, so it's weaker in covalent bonds.
Get it? The French element is weak? LAAAAWL.
If it had a law elctronegativity, wouldn't that mean that it would never, ever, form covalent bonds?

And for me it's Flourine, Uranium, Carbon and potassium :p (did anyone see what I did there?)
You, good sir, just spelled the word fuck. Using only atomic symbols. I applaude you.

Francium is indeed my favourite too. Water + Francium = not good things.

Also, Francium doesn't make covalent bonds because it is a metal, making it join in ionic bonds. You're right about the electronegativity though.

I also like Hydrogen because it is in almost all of my Chemistry equations, and it is the easiest and most effortlessly drawn in Lewis Dot Diagrams.

also when francium is out in the open, it explodes. no kidding. it only exists in vacuums... lol

Either lithium (it makes the voices go away; and reacts violently in water) or nitrogen (because my DNA is important to me, and because "nitro-" is the coolest sounding suffix for anything)

On a related topic, one day in chem I noticed that it makes me really hungry and on free time I figured out why:

Cobalt + Oxygen + Potassium + Iodine + Einsteinium = CoOKIEs
[sup]Ok, the real reason is because my teacher is really easy to tune out. Cool though.[/sup]

sodium. It explodes in water, I mean come on man.
That applies to all alkali metals.

mine is Mercury because its the only liquid metal at room temp
*high fives* I like Mercury too. I'm fond of Ag, Silver, but Mercury is fun to watch, and you can tell the temperature with it.

Fire or Earth. They r rlly good for high dam. and tanking.

No. I've always liked Hydrogen. But chemistry makes my brain hurt.
Incidentally, to what extent is it involved in microbiology?Because if there's a lot of it, that may be a dealbreaker for a college course.

Suprised this one hasn't appeared yet.

Seriously though, Palladium is pretty cool. It's got the awesomeness and rarity of Platinum with an even cooler name. Rhodium is also pretty cool: an almost completely non-corrodable metal.

Arsenic, Selenium, Sodium, Oxygen, Fluorine, Fluorine, Iodine, Rhenium (AsSeS OF FIRe). Heh heh heh.

But seriously, I'm going with oxygen. It's required to live and it makes cars match the trees.

Its gold. When I was a younger chemist, I would have said something stupid like "Polonium" or "Irridum."

Nope.

Gold.

Bitches.
