All things nobuo uematsu. FF6 was the first and as far as i know only game with an opera written for it. between kefkas theme and the aria de mezzo carra, you cant get more amazing than that.

Everyone who hasn't said Metal gear solid 2 or 4 is wrong by miles, Metal gear solid is the only game series that's made me tear up and that's largely because of the music and the characters if you haven't heard them already go listen to them

Very very difficult. Could be any track from the Final Fantasys, Sonic the Hedgehogs, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Nights (...I know, but it was clever stuff).

Must say I have a soft spot for the remix of Pounding Pavement in Daytona USA CCE - great driving music, at the time.

Homeworld's "Adagio for Strings" . Almost made me cry when i finished the game.

I have a lot of favorites, but my #1 pick by a landslide is Zelda's Lullaby. There is a youtube clip of a woman with a wonderful voice vocalizing it that just sends shivers down my spine.

#2 for me (for a completely different reason) is the windmill song from Ocarina of Time. It's just so much fun.
