What's your favorite music piece you've ever heard in any game?

I enjoy most of the music from Final Fantasy VII, as well as most of the Half-Life 2 (and both episodes) music.

I also like the Team Fortress 2 music, originally entitled (I think) 'Team Fortress 2'. The best, however, is 'Still Alive' from Portal

The main title for Morrowind.

While it may not be my favourite piece of music from a game, its right up there. I still get a little shiver up my spine every time I boot up Morrowind and hear that song, even after 3 years of playing it (on and off).

Half-Life 2's 'Requiem for Ravenholm' stung me well, but I'd also go with 'Sector Sweep' from Episode 2.

Yeah, Half Life (2, ep1 and 2) had awesome music.

If we are to take remixes into account, then the tracks from FF6 grand edition are out right amazing. My personal favorites from it would have to be:

For me, I'd have to say Astral Observatory from Majora's Mask. A lot of music in that game was amazing. I'd even go as far as saying it's the best in the series when it comes to its OST.

All things nobuo uematsu. FF6 was the first and as far as i know only game with an opera written for it. between kefkas theme and the aria de mezzo carra, you cant get more amazing than that.
