Ive never had a peice of advertising influence me like that ad, I went from not caring about that game at all to preordering it and being psyched for it to come out... then bitterly disapointed when it turned out to be crap

Besides the TF2 Meet the Team videos,

Halo 3 - Believe. The amount of work that went into that is stunning. The music is beautiful (Chopin), and the imagery is mind-blowing. It's all very emotional when combined. Amazing advertisement, and a testament to the admirable game.

By far, the GTA4 tv commercial. There is no way to describe how pumped this made me for this game. The music fit perfectly, plus Niko's lines were awesome. "I'm the one who survived..."

Note, the game exceeded my expectations. Loved it.

That and Assasins Creed are the best I can think of, however I have this thought in the back of my mind "You have seen better". Its anoying because I can't think what would top the GTAIV ad.

Not so much a game ad and not even that good but that ad was so laughably bad that it bordered awesome.
