What's your favourtie INDIE game?

To name a few: Terraria, Minecraft, Super Meat Boy, Trine, Plants vs. Zombies, Killing Floor and Torchlight.

Never really played any of the big indie games. Yes, I know. I'm killing the gaming industry. Don't quote me.

When it initially came out it was, in their words, a "buggy piece of crap," but very quickly almost all bugs were fixed.

This whole thing cracks me up. You can always tell if a game's from a major developer based on how lenient reviewers are with bugs.

"Magicka is one of the more innovative multiplayer games to come out recently, but oh noes! there are a couple of bugs that will likely be fixed in the next patch. 7/10."

"Well, [INSERT BETHESADA GAME] has the same bugs that plague every Bethesada game, most of which will likely be eventually fixed by the community because the devs never do. But come on, it's Bethesada! 9.5/10!"

I'd say it's either Super Meat Boy or Minecraft. One's a kickass platformer that does not mess around, and the other's an amazing open-world game in the most literal sense. I want more games where I can not only go to the mountains in the distance, but strip-mine them and build a giant doom fortress!

Oh man there's just so many....Aquaria, Super meat boy, spewer, world of goo, cave story, braid, audiosurf, torchlight was alright, minecraft (derp), Noitu Love 2, The Iconoclasts (was never finished but the first bit of the game was amazing), Machinarium, knytt and knytt stories, and trilby the art of theft was pretty damn fun too.

ok, ones I have to buy would have to be a tie between Magicka, a 4 player, top down, game of pure awesomeness, and Terraria, a combat based game that just so happens to contain a building option.

Also, to everyone saying minecraft, the thing stopped being Indie once it sold more then big box office developers, so I can proudly state that it is now a triple A game, so thats epic. But you can still say its indie, thats just my opinion on the matter anyway.

Is Amnesia: The Dark Descent an indie game? Because that was pretty damn good.

Why yes it is, it was beaten by MineCraft in that Indie tournament thing.

OT: My favorite indie games are World of Goo at first, MineCraft at second, and third would be Amnesia. Runner-up would be The Ship.
