The city of Portland, OR is famous for the world's smallest (and utterly pointless) park--it's about the size of a pizza. It is home to the world's only double-deck drawbridge, has a volcano within city limits, and is the hometown of the infamous D.B Cooper, who jumped out of an airplane with about $200,000 of stolen money in a suitcase and was never found. So yes, some very random things.

My hometown of Wakefield, Massachusetts (pop. 25,000) introduced the Soviet Union to candlepin bowling.

My town Sarajevo had the the longest siege in history. It lasted 1492 days and it's longer than Stalingrad's. That's about 4 and a half years. Almost five. Great, huh x(.

My hometown is famous for nothing. It's just a suburb that exists. I'm happy when people tell me they know where it exists.

Chester has the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain. Nothing has happened here of any importance for about 1700 years. Oh, and i think we have the sencond most photographed clock in the world, after big ben. Then again, it could be second in britain. Chester is kind of dull.
