Well first off my hometown is Bath, England. It is famous for Rugby in England (well among Rugby fans anyway). Around the world it is famous for its Roman Bath Houses along with other beautiful Roman Architecture and Spas.

It's also famous for having a beautiful spring due to the large amount of flowers that bloom at that time in the area.

365 lakes, one for every day of the year and every leap year we flood an area just to make sure our boast is accurate.

Only thing i can think of that's famous from around here are the bands "Millencolin" and "Nasum", both of which have members born and raised here, other than that, nothing.

Fremont, California

Famous for John C. Fremont

Apparently he lived inside of a tree for a while... contributed to the development of California, and was a crazy, awesome racist guy... ironically, Fremont, CA has become incredibly diverse in terms of demographics....

Guess he lost that one....

I've been to bath before. had a swim in one of the modern spa's pools (it was on the roof). quite a nice weekend away, actually. also learned that you're not allowed to have any signs on the outside of shops and hotels in bath, which accounted for us missing the world famous five star hotel in the town and spending it at a 4 star place instead.

Previously Coal, coal mine disasters, the longest masonry bridge, opera singers and that sort of stuff, writing the Welsh national anthem.

Currently, Lostprophets, Funeral For a Friend, Tom Jones (he is really from the west country mind!), Stereophonics.

Our most famous person is John Hay, private secretary to President Lincoln and secretary of state for 2 other presidents. A man from our town invented 2% milk, but couldn't get a patent so it was accredited to someone else.
