My home town of Beaverton Oregon is famous for having Nike's world H.Q located there. Other than that nothing else.

I live in Lincoln and our claim to fame is that we built the first tank.
Also for Lincolnshire sausage and its many airbases.

Hometown as in town I spent most of my early life in, Olympia, WA, U.S.A. famous for hippies, or at least being very very very very very liberal Evergreen state college and the penis clam mascot. The city turned away it's namesake submarine, the U.S.S. Olympia, from a port-of-call trip as a "war protest".

First city to live in that I feel that I can call home/current residence: Spokane, WA, U.S.A.; setting of Benny and Joon, hosted the first environmentally themed World's Fair in Expo '74, becoming the smallest city yet to host a World's Fair, Bloomsday, Hoopfest, and a big RadioFlyer wagon.

My home city (Edmonton) is home to Canada's largest living history museum (Ft. Edmonton Park) and North America's largest mall (West Edmonton Mall). Also, if I'm not mistaken, BioWare has its headquarters here....

Well my hometown in Virginia which is Newport News is famous for the Christian Identity movement one of the most violent and largest Neo-Nazi movements in America. Where I live in Utah now isn't famous for much.

What do you mean by home town?

If you mean where I was born, then it's known for the Oklahoma City bombing, and being the capital of Oklahoma.

If you mean where I live now, it's that it is near Washington DC

Unfortunatly my town seems to be cursed, it's claim to fame used to be the vast tourists attractions but when that went down the tube it's next claim to fame was a terrible incident in which cocklers tragicly drowned, if that wasn't bad enough a royal nearly died flying over this town when a biplane nearly crashed into her private plane. Not the greatest reasons to be famous.

Thompson OH was the birthplace of Charles Hall, who figured out how to cheaply produce aluminum, which was once considered a rare and expensive metal.
