Thanks for the warm welcome. I'n holland ( where i'm from) you need a university degree in order to teach. Bachelor degree for up to 15 year olds masters degree for older ( easiest way too compare school systems is age I guess) I make about 2500 dollar after taxes a month (thanks to favorable exchange rates)But lets say I could buy about 1800 loaves of bread a month =-P . teachers are payed by the state in Holland so for a masters degree wages are not all that awesome but I like what I do.

Well then it's just almost like over here in Austria
Even if the payment isn't that awesome, it's a comfortable and really secure job (since you're working for the government).
It really sounds interesting to me.

Yeah, it's helpdesking pretty much. But without quite so much screentime. There's a lot of frontline hardware hacking involved (aka "putting things in, replacing broken ones, and showing r00bs where the power button is" )

I'm currently a data manager in a videogame company. BUT! I move to a new department next Monday, and I will be a full-fledged programmer. No more buildsystem, no more annoying network issues to be fixed... It's gonna be awesome.

Awesome, man! Living the dream, huh? Network issues can be a real pain, and buildsystems can be, especially if your developers refuse to use it right like they do where I work! ^.^
