Edward_Bear said:Thanks for the warm welcome. I'n holland ( where i'm from) you need a university degree in order to teach. Bachelor degree for up to 15 year olds masters degree for older ( easiest way too compare school systems is age I guess) I make about 2500 dollar after taxes a month (thanks to favorable exchange rates)But lets say I could buy about 1800 loaves of bread a month =-P . teachers are payed by the state in Holland so for a masters degree wages are not all that awesome but I like what I do.Hanzo Hattori said:That one sounds like fun!Edward_Bear said:I Work at a school, teaching what is best translated as "Life-stance" ( Levensbeschouwing voor jullie Nederlanders)It's combination of religious education, philosophy and social studies. I'm going to trap you in my basement and assume your identity; there will, of course, be some occasional feedings and sexual molestation. When is a good time for you?newuseforvintage said:I manage a cigar store. My whole job is a smoke break.

What kind of test did you have to take because I think I've got that condition as well.JenSeven said:I'm disabled.
Mentally that is.
I cannot hold any job without going insane and driving everyone around me insane.
(I have been tested and it has been proven, I am not allowed to work a single day for the rest of my life)
Awesome, man! Living the dream, huh? Network issues can be a real pain, and buildsystems can be, especially if your developers refuse to use it right like they do where I work! ^.^Dublin Solo said:I'm currently a data manager in a videogame company. BUT! I move to a new department next Monday, and I will be a full-fledged programmer. No more buildsystem, no more annoying network issues to be fixed... It's gonna be awesome.
EDIT: Holy 400 posts, Batman!
Nice! What kind of game are you working on?Imsety said:I'm an indie game developer. I've been working on a rather big project all by myself for about a year and a half now, still a couple months away from release, and it hasn't paid me a dime so far. Used to work as a freelance Java and PHP developer before that, but I stopped in favor of devoting more time to the actually fulfilling work.
Thank feck for supportive parents who are willing to fund this insanity...
