I'm a graphic designer at a signmaking company. It's a relatively small company (about 8 or 9 employees and every now and then a few parttimers or a student work placement), but we have a huge amount of pretty big customers. We basically provide other companies with pretty much anything they can use to advertise themselves. This includes pens, billboards, banners, neon lettering, window tinting, full car wrapping (nothing like wrapping an entire Lancer Evo IX in carbon, let me tell you), stickers, clothing, etcetera.

On the side I run a small business with 3 guys I know from school, basically providing webdesign, visual effects, film & photo editing, promotional and logo design and so on. It's still pretty much in the starting phase but we got some nice jobs to do already. It's mostly about having fun though, none of us plan to actually make a living out of it. But you know, a few hundred bucks extra every now and then is always nice.

I'm a student, which isn't a job, but it's a...sorry excuse for not having one despite my middling efforts.

Careful with the link. If the mods see it as an advertisement attempt they might take action. I hope they don't. Welcome to the escapist!

I work at the front desk of my dorm at my University, part time. The shifts aren't too bad, but the hours are rather lame. I work, if I'm lucky, 4 hours every two weeks. It is rather pathetic.

Oh well, at least I am able to browse the Escapist whilst being at said job. That makes it worth it.

I attend school, but every saturday I work at a supermarket distrubation centre, just stacking empty crates etc.

there are 2 catches to that job:
1 its 7-4, so I have to get up at 5:30
2 I am the only native there, all other employers are polish.

I used to be paid by the United States Military but that was a long time ago. I work in construction during the day, then I go home sleep for 3 hours, wake up, gel my hairs and tend bar at a pretty trendy venue in NYC. I also smoke reefer pretty professionally. I'm a jack of all trades.

Studying Radiography. Well, for the moment at least... Got an exam in anatomy within a month, and if I don't pass that I'll be held back until I either pass it (we get two or three tries on it I think), fail completely or drop out... WHY DOES THE HUMAN BODY HAVE TO BE SO COMPLEX?! >_<

Head of IT at a credit union. All the computers and the network and now it seems the vending machine (I guess because it has electronics in it) are under my control.
