Everyone loves the girls with English accents, but not the chavs. Nobody likes chavs. Irish and Scottish are good too. Actually Europe is fine except for east Europe where everything sounds gutteral. Also Dutch.

I idolised my Japanese teacher back in the second year of High School. I listened to him so much to get his accent I didn't learn any Japanese. He was Irish. Nowdays, if I listen to an accent for a time I can usually pick it up.

I'm not even going to read this thread before posting, but off the top of my head I'm guessing a double-digit percentage of the posts herein will be people expressing their hatred for "American" accents.

New England. It's better than British, but not as twangy as Australian. (seriously, do yourselves a favor and visit Maine sometime, they honestly don't have an annunciation for e's and o's, it's strange but endearing)

My friend moved to Japan for 2 years and went to an international school there. Apparently the American kids couldn't distinguish between the Australian accent, the New Zealand accent, the South African accent or the English accent.

Personally I love Italian.
