British and Irish, for me.

On men, they sound awesome. On women, they just make me melt and go all giggly.

I love the English accent. Been trying to get it down, and must say it's better than how most people do it in my area.

Welsh. Every time. Being half Welsh probably influences that...I wish I had the accent.
Its the same for me. I have possibly the most Welsh surname possible yet I live in Dorset so instead of having a glorious Welsh accent I have a slightly less glorious (though only very slight) west-country accent.

Thank you for informing me of just how spiffing my accent is. Well, it does appear to be time for afternoon tea and crumpets. Toodlepip!

I like British accents (but only speaking English; speaking in other languages, like Japanese, it grates.) But I have a serious weakness for guys with British accents. Seriously, that accent is like +2 charm.

And being Southern, I have a soft spot for Southern accents as well, but that's likely familiarity more than anything else.

For non-native speakers, I'm developing a like for French accents, and Spain Spanish accents (South American Spanish is slightly different and I'm not as fond of it). I also like faint Japanese and Korean accents.

Russian, Scandinavian, Irish, Scottish, (and some other certain English accents)

Gotta love them all.

I like the Irish and Australian accents.
I like the Southern state's accents as well.
But my favourite has to be the Yorkshire accent. I swear there's no bias there...

What is this 'British' accent so many people seem to love?

There are probably at least a 100 different and distinct accents in the British Isles, so which one do people mean?

Saying British accent is just as vague as saying an European accent, Asian accent or an Americas accent (from Canada to Argentina and every accent in-between).
