Oh man, there was this bit in Skies of Arcadia....

There was this giant whale that one of the supporting characters kept trying to hunt down throughout the game. Eventually, this character fell from your party. He reappered later with said whale, turning out to be a Gigas (a large, man-made creature that the old worlds sic'd on each other) that happened to be an actual whale.

Then they played the sad, music. The whale shed a tear and died.
That scene made me want to cry.

Sadly enough, end of Halo 3 when I thought Master Chief had died, I was actually really upset. Call me a fanboy.

I got angry-sad at Lucien for killing Root (my dog) in Fable 2. >:C
When Lucien killed my dog I had a "Noo we had come so far, we still have so much to do" moment worst part is I didn't bring him back....... So now I'm walking around all alone no dog..... D=

Near the end of MGS4 when Sunny asks Otacon where Snake is and Otacon replies "Snake's had a hard life. He needs to rest."
And then the reconciliation of father and son. "This is good. Isn't it?"

There's a star wars game called Clone Trooper I think, it's a great little squad based FPS. You get three guys and the lot of you go on secret missions to kill aliens and robots and robot aliens...w/e. Right at the end of the game OMGWTFSPOILER they kill Sev, and I get this shocked look on my face. Then the remaining three of you are on a ship and all "Let's go back and save this guy", and Yoda appears in a hologram and says "No time for that, we got buisness to attend to." And I had to leave the room while credits rolled, on account of NOOOOOOOOOOO.

End of Halo 3, when Johnson dies... I was like "NOOOOOOoooo...damn it!" He was the coolest and funniest person in most FPS's. Also when Ben Carmine died... Almost forgot this one...when Rico didn't die in Killzone 2! He pissed me off more than anything, I'd rather have Radec as my friend. :p

when templar died kinda got to me as he died slowly and sacrificing himself for the isa but rico i wanted to die horribly
Yea, that got me too. I was surprised they killed Templar, caught me off guard. I was like "...damn...that sucks!"
the whole game i hoped there was a sequence where we and templar kicking helgan's asses

End of CoD4, made me sad =(

And I must say, reading though all the posts I didn't realize that games could conger up so much emotion, it simply amazing, movies, songs and even books have made me cry, but never a game. I'm not saying it's a bad thing it simply changed my ways of looking at things and I thank you all.

When Ben Carmine died. It was bound to happen but still made me sad.

I also cried at the cinematic in Warcraft 3, when Hellscream dies to free his people.

I was so ad at that... I think I cried, since me and my brother were watching my dad play it from the start...that cutscene made my eyes watery..I still feel bummed watching it now

Companion cube. Definitely.
I got so immersed into the atmosphere of that game. I really thought that someone, maybe that mystic voice, was going to do something to hurt me. But that cube was the only thing that didn't look like it would hurt me. That's why I felt devestated when...

I would like to say I did last play FF7 when I was ten so really it's not that clear I just remember that Red XIII was a great character and anything bad happening to him was sad.

I never really been sad while playing a game, but the only time I felt some emotion while playing was with GTA4. I was doing what I normally do in the GTA series (driving 130mph+ in the wrong direction). I hit a car, and I noticed the horn was blaring for a good few seconds. I got out to look at the car, and noticed the guy was leaning over the steering wheel...dead. I just kinda looked at the screen for a minute. I felt bad that I did that, even though it was a video game...idk lol

MGS3 ending. I thought I held up pretty good through most of it, but when Big Boss saluted The Boss's tombstone and started crying, I felt so depressed.
I'm there with ya man. I stood up and saluted right along with Big Boss. EPIC.
