When Did You Give Up On The Xbox 360?

Mine lasted 4 years and had to be sent in once about 2 months after I got it. My new one has had no problems in the 4 months I have owned it.

I haven't had the need to give up my 360; it's on its 3rd year and works just fine.

My 2nd takes about 4 or 5 times to read Oblivion now. And that's with a couple of "encouragement" smacks too, just to let it know who's boss.

My 360 has only got fritzy 2 times, but it was ok.

First Xbox Red Ringed MONTHS after I got it, and I saw it coming because the conditions I had it in were brutal. Running 24 seven in an unairconditioned room in the CORNER of the room pushed to the back wall near loads of insulating debris over the course of the summer. I'd like to remind that I play it ALL the time. It finally crapped out a year later but by then the harddrive was all used up so my brother just bought an Elite.

There's something to be said about the consistancy of Microsoft's manufacturing processes...

Mine red ringed for the second time, while it was away being fixed I bought a Jasper unit.

I have a PS3 and a Wii but I never touch them. I think I've given up on those.

And I know Dragon Age isn't an xbox exclusive, I'm just excited about it

Mine hasn't gotten the red ring yet, but after Fable 2, I didn't have much of a reason to play my 360 after that.

OT: Im on my 3rd 360 but it doesn't bother me because they're simply amazing

This, as much to my annoyance in forking out money for new consoles (I'm going to buy my third tomorrow morning) I use my 360 enough that I won't give up on it.

I've never had any problems with mine. But on topic. I gave up when Sega stopped making consoles.

I've only had it once, but that was fixed relativly quickly. So... no way in hell.

Xbox #7 (Elite, mind) has been somewhat reliable since August 07, I'm getting the Super Elite soon anyway.
