I'm just curious about when you escapist's think it's the right time.I think it's when they ask about it what ever age that is.What do you think, should you tell them when 13 or leave it to them to figure it out.

This! I really think as soon as a kid asks about it that they should be educated about it. Whether you sit them down or do what my mother did (buy a book).

Well that depends on the child.

When they've reach an age/level of maturity where the possibility of them having sex is there

Not quite. I dont remember what it was called but I do recall that there were alot of illustrations. One of them being a sperm wearing a top hat and carrying flowers.

Sounds about right to me, that way they decide and it's more natural because it's on their mind rather than being forced onto them.

I think about 9, but I would speak very technicaly and when I'm done describing the process I'd tell them about all the fun diseases to scare them out of it.

They should be educated about it when they want to know, meaning when they start asking questions about it.

I'd say when they start puberty.

Though if it is a question like "where do babies come from" I'd answer it in the most scientific and correct way possible, without really mentioning to any external sexual organs.
Why wouldn't you mention any "external sexual organs"? Wouldn't that be, like, part of the entire thing?

I'm gonna wait for my kids to ask, and I'm gonna do the entire thing in a Mr Mackey voice. "The penis, mkay, goes into the vagaaaaahna... Mkay."

i would say never, because THAT talk is so embarrasing that youre about to puke.
my stepmom just uttered the word once, and i started to yell at her, and i told her that i didn't wan't THAT talk.

but still, IF YOURE EvER GOING TO HAVE THAT TALK, wait for the kid to come to you.
or just leave the school to it, unless you live in Africa or China/Japan

I am inclined to say let him lear on his own, but that might backire by the ime you're in the delivery room with your 13 year old daughter.

Around 10, I would think. Leaving it to the schools is the worst possible thing you could do.

Around puberty, perhaps. But seeing as I'm in puberty, and never had the talk with my parents, and would prefer not having the talk cause it's really embarrassing (But I already know what to know, I'm not an idiot), I'll give them some time to figure it out themselves... Until they're 15, if they don't know it by then it's time to tell them.

Well my parents never talked to me about it at all, they just sorta figured I would learn for myself. I started learning about it when I was 10 or 11, thanks to the help of the internet and Pornotube.com.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Around the onset of puberty, probably. Although, in this day and age, most kids already know anyway.
