New Year's Eve, I had to get this chick who just did something very erotic to me, who after asked me to take her to my place. But, I already have a girlfriend, she was my date. So I took her to my best friends place cos he worked that night and I knew he just got home. I rushed back to the club to kiss her at midnight and take her back to my place.

Also, I listened to Zeppelin about five hours ago.
I was staring at this trying to work it out for ages...I think I need sleep.

No I went out for a cigar, because we cannot smoke anywhere near a door. And, my girlfriend prefers dancing with her girlfriends anyways. The girl I took to my best friends house, had wanted to make love, she was not drunk or high, I'm fairly sure. I do have a degree in many subjects one of them psychology. I hurried back to the club to kiss my girlfriend.

You didn't stutter but you did create a thread that is not well explained with very little thought put into it.

OP: I have never got the led out? I think?
Allow me to explain: "Getting the Led out" is a phrase that means playing music written and performed by popular '70s hard rock band, Led Zeppelin. Radio DJs first coined the term when they would have long segments or air time dedicated to playing Led Zeppelin.

Gettin' the le[a]d out is an old military term in Britain. Basically telling the troops to hurry the **** up.

Ouch. We get you don't like them, but to think they're 'talentless'? That's a bit harsh don't you think...
Yes it was a bit harsh, but why bother to sugarcoat things?
Then don't you think it was a bit silly? Even *twitch* Justin Bieber has talent.
Not when they stole the intro to Stairway to Heaven (the only good part of the song) from one of the bands they opened for.

The guy that wrote the song just wanted them to say thanks. They never did.

The last time I listened to them was right before I learned they stole most of their hit songs from other musicians. They sicken me now for doing such an underhanded thing.
Correction: Early Led Zeppelin borrowed popular tunes from Blues songs and rearranged them for a harder, edgier feel. By Led Zeppelin II the band were more adept at songwriting and relied less on covering old music. "Home Of The Electric Blues", Chicago, 6 April 1977. Research, don't regurgitate.

Let's see a source on that, then you may be believed.

I got my light emitting diode out last night when I needed to get my daughters jacket out of her room when she was asleep.
I'd love a good LED flashlight, it's such an odd thing to get geeky about, but powerful flashlights kick ass.

Stating opinion as fact is iffy at the best of times. Even if you don't like the noise they make, they were all virtuoso's in their own right, and(after the Beatles)are considered by many to be the best rock band that has existed.

Personally, I love 'em. I haven't put any on for a while, but "Since I've been loving you" and "When the levee breaks" blow my mind.

If you've never listened to a Led Zeppelin song, then how do you know that they're talentless?

OT: About a week, I think.

I dislike Led Zepplin.
I won't comment on their "talent" or how "capable" or "influential" they are, and honestly I couldn't care less.
They've never instilled me with any emotional reaction other than abject apathy. If they did it might have been tints of disgust.

Btw: really poorly made thread imho.

Okay, I edited my first post to 'borrowed' instead of 'stole'. It doesn't change the fact that they waited for many years to change who the songs were really written by on the inserts, coincidentally after proof and lawsuits started showing up. For that I think they are scum, except Bonham (may he rest in peace) since can do no wrong in my mind.

If you like a band that road on the backs of others to fame and fortune, good for you.

Good day sir.
Find me a famous band that did not ride on the backs of others. All musicians look to their predecessors for inspiration and usable material.
EX: The Beatles got their start by trying to be Buddy Holly. Holly's band was called The Crickets and John Lennon named the band 'The Beatles' in reference. Harry, Bill (2000b). The John Lennon Encyclopedia. London: Virgin. ISBN 0-7535-0404-9.

How can I improve it? I'm new to forum-ing (if that is even a word). I want to the best job that I can.

For one, don't be aggressive when somebody dislikes something you love. :>
