When was the last time you got the Led out?

I dislike Led Zepplin.
I won't comment on their "talent" or how "capable" or "influential" they are, and honestly I couldn't care less.
They've never instilled me with any emotional reaction other than abject apathy. If they did it might have been tints of disgust.


Btw: really poorly made thread imho.

How can I improve it? I'm new to forum-ing (if that is even a word). I want to the best job that I can.

For one, don't be aggressive when somebody dislikes something you love. :>

People can hold any opinion they want, and I am fine with that. If you, or anyone else who has spoken their mind here don't care for Led Zeppelin or any other band based on musical taste that is fine and totally up to them. HOWEVER, when they hold an opinion based on claims without substantial proof, then I have problems with them.

The last time I listened to them was right before I learned they stole most of their hit songs from other musicians. They sicken me now for doing such an underhanded thing.

Correction: Early Led Zeppelin borrowed popular tunes from Blues songs and rearranged them for a harder, edgier feel. By Led Zeppelin II the band were more adept at songwriting and relied less on covering old music. "Home Of The Electric Blues", Chicago, 6 April 1977. Research, don't regurgitate.

Okay, I edited my first post to 'borrowed' instead of 'stole'. It doesn't change the fact that they waited for many years to change who the songs were really written by on the inserts, coincidentally after proof and lawsuits started showing up. For that I think they are scum, except Bonham (may he rest in peace) since can do no wrong in my mind.

If you like a band that road on the backs of others to fame and fortune, good for you.

This is not about the band; this is about calling you out on not sourcing your claims. If you don't like any band due to musical taste, that's fine, it's your opinion.

No, you didn't stutter. You just made this topic seem as though it is about Leds of the Zeppelin variety rather than leads of elemental variety. Quite a clever play on words you have there.

Anyway, the only Zeppelin song I own is Kashmir. I like the melody and riffs. Other than that he's just not my cup of tea.

No I didn't, I took the one that wanted to **** on the spot to my friends house which was ten minutes away, I made sure I was back for my girlfriend at midnight, I smoke # 2 or 6 Cohibas and their clubs and minis. That night I had a # 2 so I had the time to drive around.

And for clarification ATCO wanted Zeppelin to do pseudo covers of blues to make it a hard rock sound. When the band started Swan Song, everything came from within. And, don't forget the paragraph above this one.
