What with all of the hate towards EA just because yahtzee doesn't like EA doesn't mean you can't nor does it make it "cool" not to.

and yet you buy there games. Keep in mind that some games by EA are good or at the least fairly decent.
Such as
Dead space
Army of two (Decent if you have a friend)
The need for speed series (Sure the series is declining but at first it was good.)
Skate
Battlefield
Mirrors edge
and LOTR conquest
All these games share the Ea logo.

Agreed; they are turning themselves around. look at thier line up of games recently and tell me you didn't respect EA for the effort they put into them: Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Spore, Burnout Paradise and Skate 2.Internet Kraken said:

EA have really turned their game (oh yes, punny I know) around these last couple of years, I don't understand the hate they continue to receive. Now activision-blizzard on the other hand, 8 Guitar Hero titles announced with more on the way this year alone! If they can't flood the market with a franchise they are not interested... *stares longingly at Brutal Legend*

On the other hand, look at 895189257129 add-ons to Sims 2, too early release of Warhammer Online and of course, MORE AND MORE Tomb Raiders, NHLs, FIFAs (even if every next PES game is better) without improving anything. Graphics don't count, and even if they did, it's a poor improvement.
Your rant here is effectively about EA Sports, not EA in general. When you look at sports titles, there isn't much you can update from year to year, and in that light I actually think they do a good job thinking up new little things to put into each title. That being said, I am not a sports fan, so I don't play their titles that often (aside from the ones my friends have worked on, or the one I worked on myself).sokka14 said:
