Where do you shop for games?

I rarely plan my game purchases. I simply go wherever is closest to my position at any point in time. Also, many of my game purchases are impulse purchases.

Stores: Game, Gamestation, HMV, CEX (for games that are hard to find new)
Online: Play.com, Amazon, HMV, Zavvi

I'm in Australia, so I'll usually shop at EB Games or GAME. Theyre both good, but I reckon EB has the better deals, so I'll stick with EB.

I usually buy over the internet at gamestop or walmart, because the game store in my city closed.

Steam for the PC, Game or HMV for the 360.

The sooner the consoles get their heads around digital distribution, the better.

well, I use Steam for most games, but for actual retail games dvd's I go to a local store called CD-Shop (epic name, right?) which is, btw, the ONLY games store in my city, and it seems they're aware of that, so they sell their games for more than AR$100 (actually, AR$100 is the cheapest you will find here)

More often than not I use GAME but sometimes I use Amazon or Play to get retro classics or just because they can have really great deals like Arkham Asylum for £20 about 3 months after it's release. That one was a bargain and a half

I prefer retail and I have been buying games at Best Buy as of late, mostly because I can walk there. I almost never buy games online, but if I do it'll be from Steam or from a console's marketplace.
