Where should Dead Rising 2 take place?

A Tokyo shopping district.

Ahah, they could get really creative with the character/zombie design.
Harajuku, gothic, cosplay, yakuza, ganguro, sumo, geisha...
And the weapons would be awesome, with samurai memorabilia stores and yakuza strong-holds.
And they could include different areas with that, like marinas, tea gardens, and amusement parks.
But I think what would put it over the top, would be if you played a giggling, stereotypical, big-breasted, asian girl character.

Well seeing as they have already stolen the idea from George A. Romero they might as well run with it, make the next one either in a log-cabin in the woods or in a military bunker.

But that would not make the game what it is, using everyday objects to kill waves and waves of the undead. Cause in the military bunker you will get more and better machine guns which kill the game a bit (which is why the uzi in the first one is soo limited) and the log cabin would have NO variety. Like some of the super good items are things that people would have around like swords (are great display objects) and chainsaws (are used to cut wood)and in the US, guns *the basic kind not big ones*(cause alot of murder/Suicides are from people killing themselves/someone else/killed by someone else with there own gun.)
Any Area which involves satire and variety can be used for the second one.

Yeah it definately take place in a city. And maybe this time around, if you actually kill the entire population of the city there should be a few less zombies around. After killing 53,945 zombies why are there still thousands of them around?

Not a bad idea. The zombie population wouldn't have to go down as the game progresses, but it'd be an interesting idea. And yes, the game would have to take place in a city. The third game would take place on an island. The fourth on a small country, and finish off the series in space!

the next game should take place in a random town like the ones featured in GTA cause various people could be psychopaths (toy store owners,gang members etc) there would be a lot of vehicles car,bikes other and freedom to kill could be taken to the next level.
