I visited NYC a few times before the attack and even saw the WTC first hand. When I first heard about the attack I just assumed there would be a small wrecked plane and some damage to a couple of floors near the top.cobra_ky said:i was in high school. i heard that a plane crashed into the world trade center. i envisioned the following scenario:
a man is sipping coffee while staring out a window at the WTC. he watches as a small cessna flies straight toward him. unperturbed, he finishes his coffee as the cessna hits the side of the building, crumples like a tin can, and falls to the street below. the window is barely scratched. "wait 'til i tell the boys about this!" he thinks to himself as he heads back to his desk, empty mug in hand.
it wasn't until i got home that day that i discovered the true extent of the tragedy. later i went to the dentist.
