Imperial Guard, preferably as a member of the Mordian Iron Guard. Those guys are badass. My Guard army in TT isn't very impressive right now as I've yet to paint any of it, I bought an armored company off ebay for a good bargain, I just don't have anyone to play with.
If I were a Space Marine I'd be one of Rogal "Shoot Me First" Dorn's and his Imperial Fists, so probably a Crimson Fist or something.

I started with Tau. Loved them, but was seduced by Chaos (probably that damned Slaanesh!). I more of a Chaos Undivided supporter, but if I had to choose one particular legion of Chaos it would be the Iron Warriors. Always loved them, but the idea of making them look like Iron Warriors was daunting.
Even though Tzeentch is my preferred Chaos God; "Blood for the Blood God!" "Skulls for the Skull Throne!" and all that good stuff.
Oh, can anyone numerically list the Horus Heresy series? I can't figure out which is the bloody second in the series.

I'm a big fan of the Space Marines myself, partly for visual style and partly because I like working with smaller, tougher groups of units. As for a specific chapter, I couldn't rightly say. I suppose I have some extra love for the Blood Ravens because of the Dawn of War titles.

I currently play witchhunters, but I love tyranids and plan on starting a new army with them soon.
Imperial Guard have been badasses - I submit "Guant's Ghosts" for your consideration.
Personally, it's the Grey Knights - Chapter 666, Homebase on Titan, rumored to have been created by the Gene-Seed of the Emperor himself. These guys are each potent psykers, and they have Nemisis Force Weapons. Truly, utterly badass. I probably started rooting for them when I saw a piece of concept art that was essentially one group of Grey Knights against LOADS of chaos demons, with the caption "A Grey Knight squad stopping the invasion of ". Awesome.
