Since I'm a fan of Blackberry, right now I'm using the Bold 9000 (love the roll-ball!) but I really wish I had a Torch. I get to use a Torch for store-use at my job and I love it. It's what I was planning on getting when I'm eligible for an upgrade, though with all the news over Sony's PlayStation Phone, I might just go for it instead.Since I have some down-time just about every day at work to play games on my phone, it could be more ideal for me.

So what do you guys use or wish you had?

That epic Razor from National treasure. I used to have that phone, but this Hollywood edition of it kicked ass. Could take super high def, perfect res pictures moving at 60+ mph.

I use a 4 year old non-smartphone that doesn't even take video.

I want a iPhone. Because it's got decent games now, too. I'm coming for you, Sonic 4!

A Nokia flip-phone from a while back with a broken screen. It can make and receive calls so I'm not really in the market for a new one.

I use an LG Cosmos touch screen phone with full QWERTY keyboard. I enjoy it very much.
Same.

Though before I had an Alias 1, and I kinda wish i had the Alias two. I like to flip a phone up as well as open it for a full QWERT keyboard.

I have a Pantech Ease that I am really loving after replacing my LG Generic Phone. Touch screen is responsive enough and the keys on the keyboard are big so that I'm not constantly hitting multiple buttons.

I have no idea what type of phone I have. All I know is that it's a Samsung, and that I got it about 7-8 years ago.
It still works fine, so I'm not getting a new one any-time soon, nor do I wish to. I don't understand why people always want the latest phones that come out.

An LG Optimus 7, it's my first smartphone and I'm loving it. It's basically replaced my Ipod and laptop on top of being a great phone.

Samsung Galaxy S with a customized OS and filesystem. I have no idea how I got along before I got it (or its predecessor, a T-Mobile G1).

I'm willing to accept that you don't need a better phone, so please, please, respect our resolve to have the "latest phone" (though I don't even care about how new it is).

I like to have the ability to listen to music with it while my MP3 player is broken (like it is right now) and because of its long-lasting battery, I can do that for a long time (which is pretty much the main thing to look for in MP3s for me) and I can also look at YouTube videos while at school (because it has Wifi), check up on my e-mail or read the Escapist (or, for example, Cracked) whenever I like, and it helps alleviate boredom, as that's usually when I see use for it outside of calling and sending SMSs.

It can also do other things that are really great when I'm out and about, including useful features like having 3.5G so that I can go to the virtual bank to transfer money to people when they need it right then (this needs context, as to why it's so important, but believe me, I have needed it) since it's converted to a mobile format it doesn't even take that much bandwidth (especially seeing as to get this phone really cheaply I have 5MB of 3.5G I have to pay for anyway).

The point is I use it all the time when out, and even when I've not had a computer to use, and it's really helpful.

So yeah, you may not understand, but I sure do, and please understand that, at least, that I need it.

Personally, I don't know how many times I've saved the day with just my phone's GPS. It also replaced my car GPS, but when it really shines is pulling it out when other people get lost with me. They get into the mild panic of us not getting where we're going, I pull out my phone and it'll get us there. The usefulness of this feature goes down significantly if there are other smartphones/GPS, but its pretty awesome when you're the one prepared.

You never actually said what phone you have. I have the HTC Aria, I love my tiny smartphone (and thank Raptor Jesus for Swype).

I've got a generic LG bit it has a keypad and I can get email so it's all I need.

Maybe someday if I'm feeling silly I'll go for a Droid but it's really not likely.

I have to have the phone for work, it's good to contact family if there's an emergency but other then that I honestly kind of dislike having it. Whenever it rings it means I need to rush to save the day at work or stop at the store for diapers/formula.

Getting a fancy phone (for me) is like paying extra money for someone to annoy you when they were already annoying you for free before.

iPhone 4, working fine.

Sometimes I wish I had a Linux-based phone so I could customize it a bit more.

I've got some old Nokia thing.

I wish I had something with a decent camera, so that I could take pictures when I feel like it.

After using a prepaid Nokia 3310 for almost a decade I've decided to give up my non-conforming standards and join the flock so to say. Not that I'm buying an iPhone, fuck no. My brand new Google Nexus One will be here next week, looking forward to it.
