I've had a 360, a PS3, and a PC.

I hate the 360's controller it feels like I'm holding giant chunk of plastic and it's uncomfortable to me. Plus both of the ones I had red ringed on me so frankly I hate it.

My PC I love. I just wish I could use control pad without fighting the setting for half an hour or having to struggle just to get games to even work at all.

My PS3 I love as well. I've had two of them as well, but only because the first one got stolen. Neither ever went yellow light of death on me. I love the controller design that carried over from the PS2. Love the exclusives, the free online.
The only thing I hate was just recently added and that was the redesign of the store. Looks like a low quality Steam store now, except harder to navigate.

So hands down PS3 every time. I just wish more of my friends had headsets.

Assuming you consider PC a console - PC. else - none. Neither Eggsbox $3.60, nor PayStation 3, nor PeeOnMe interests me.

PlayStation 3. I used to have a Suckbox 360, but that was for a short time so I can turn around and make more money selling it than I did buying it on Black Friday by trading it in forward a Wii U with a discount coupon. But I've had my PS3 for just over 2 years and I prefer to play everything on that.

Idk 360 has just been a great system to me and the games that have come out for it are awesome, also not having to wait for dlc add ons for those games is nice too :p

Ps3 is my console.of choice but unless it's a game which handles better with a controller or im buying it specifically to play multiplayer with a friend I'll get it for PC. Chances are it'll be cheaper, run better and look better, have mods etc etc.

To be honest i like to play on literally everything except for handhelds.

PC, Wii-U, Wii, Ps3, Xbox 360, and over a dozen retro games console spanning from the forth (16-bit) generation upwards.

I have three HD consoles hooked up to my big tv, and ten retro consoles hooked up to the small tv, with a couple in storage. I take turns in playing each, and every one, so there's a lot of variety to be had.

I would be playing my PC more than my consoles, if it didn't suffer from serious bottlenecking, and optimization issues. Trying to get my PC to play Planetside 2 properly was a pain in the total arse, and it still lags like hell when you go to huge bases. It seriously hampers my enjoyment of PC gaming as a whole.

I mostly play on my Xbox 360. Mostly because it's the console I had first but also because the controller is just so much more comfortable than the stupid PS3 controller.

Hmm... I like to think I treat my PS3 and 360 equally. I have more games on my 360 I guess, possibly over 100 and only, like, 40 for my PS3. I also have 56 for my PC and 4 for my VITA. I guess 360 since I've had it the longest...

Got wii/360 and PS3 and PC if you want to include that I suppose I mainly play on the PS3 though because it has free online no achievements (shame there are trophies cluttering things up) it hasnt died on me unlike the 360 and a few previous PCs and its my main DVD player so its usually the console connected the most which saves me messing around with wires.

It used to be the 360 but the memory is full now, I strongly dislike achievements and having to pay to play online which I do once in a blue moon also it red ringed on me I fixed it but I dont trust it now. I have imported some games and the PS3 is region free unless its Persona 4 Arena ofc which may be released in EU sometime in the next 5 years it looks like.

I have a 360 and a laptop. If the laptop can run it, I will often try to find it on sale on Steam. The big flashy games are Xbox though.

360. Multiplatform games tend to perform/look better on the 360 as oppsosed to the PS3 (FF13 is a massive exception), I prefer the 360 controller, achievements having numerical values is much more addictive than trophies, and I enjoy paying for Gold and not being hacked.

I am envious of PS3 exclusives though. They have Sly, GOW, Journey etc. Their exclusives are way better than what we have.

Except MGS4, Uncharted and Heavy Rain. I hate those games.

PS3 for the exclusives and the familiarity with the brand. The Xbox was just some thing that popped up some day and I didn't give two shits about its existence since then... except for when I laugh maniacally when my mates have to send it off to get fixed. For the indies that Xbox live has, I just go through Steam.

For multiplayer I prefer my PC since it has the widest selection of multiplayer games. If you like medival combat you've got Chivalry, if you like WoW-esque PVP you have forge, if you like FPS you have dozens of choices (my personal favorite being blacklight retribution), if you like RTS in your FPS you can play Natural selection 2 or Nuclear dawn. There's some kind of game for everyone

If it wasnt for my PC I would probably play Xbox because it feels smoother to me then PS3. Problem is every game I would do multiplayer on is also on PC

I like the consoles themselves equally but the PS3 controller is as comfortable to me as holding a serrated blade so I always try to buy my games for the 360 and save my PS3 for exclusives.

If it has a release for xBox 360 - I will buy it for 360. xBox controller > PS controller >>> keyboard and mouse. Also all my friends are there. :)

Personally, I absolutely despise consoles. Not because of their business practices or anything like that, it's just that I find gamepads to be absolutely terrible as a control scheme. The only place where I think they fare better than the keyboard and mouse is when I'm playing fighting games. Hard to pull off a 623 when you have to work with keyboard presses, rather than fluid rotation.

Other than fighting games though, the keyboard and mouse is easily the best control scheme to use. (I mean, I beat the TLB of Super Meat Boy using a mere keyboard, and I had no problems in feeling the speed of the game, despite it outright telling me I should be using a gamepad.)
