Israel never see a zombie movie in the middle east and my dark side would enjoy seeing it happen there.
Someone mentioend low population density, and I immediately thought of the Gaza Strip. Imagine an infectious zombification plague getting into an area with 1,551,859 people in 360 square kilometres. That's about three times the population of Washington DC in about twice the area ... and anyone trying to leave gets shot.
Heck of a survival horror game. You really
are stuck with holding out until you run out of zombies.

Vietnam! They took the Cham's land, then kicked out the Japanese, the French and the Americans in a few decades and rounded it off by crossing the border and kicking the Khmer Rouge out too. Zombies? Pah!

There's been some talk of islands being invaded by zombies walking on the sea-bed.
Maybe in some places, but the longer it's been since 90% of the human race got wiped out, the more of a marine ecosystem there'll be in the way. Zombies < lampreys, hagfish, sharks et cetera.

Britain wouldn't have had to worry back in the early '70s because even the zombies would have been polite. They'd have knocked on the door quietly so as not to disturb you and then left if you didn't answer, even if they knew you were in, and if they caught you in the garden you'd only have to offer them tea. They'd never turn you down, and having sat down to a nice pot of tea with you it'd be unconscionably rude to eat you.
Also Yorkshire sheep would beat them up.
