Just Cause had a terrible story as well as voice acting. At least the game was hella fun to play.

Drakenguard.

No, Drakengard is a Cavia title. Square Enix just published it.Atmos Duality said:Oh Gawd. That.Fishtie said:I love how I can win almost any kind of 'worst [blank] in a game' thread with one simple word.

It's almost as bad as Dirge, but there is one, and only one thing it has going for it:
The rotating/morphing storyline is actually a pretty cool and ambitious concept.
Now...the actual execution...oh...it hurts to even think about.
...Still not as much as Dirge of Cerberus though. That game started with no ambition and sunk to depths that NOBODY was expecting. It was literally like someone's incredibly terrible fanfiction was taken in as part of some contest and used as the plot to a B-list fan-exploitation game.
Wait, is that TWO Squeenix titles I'm comparing? Oh fuck me I feel depressed all of a sudden.
Guilty by association!Defense said:No, Drakengard is a Cavia title. Square Enix just published it.
And I heard the storyline was really good for Drakengard. I didn't play it all the way through, but if it's anything like NieR then it's pretty damn fantastic.

Gears of War 2. the plot makes sense for a while, but about halfway into it they begin throwing in half baked plot elements. it gave me the idea that the story was written by 5-6 different people, then the pages were scrambled together.
the reason I say this over another, worse game is that it wa good going in, but ruined itself in the middle, and the ending was a letdown, as another half baked plot element was introduced

heyyyy I liked the story but I've definitely agree with you about the subway tunnels.....*urgh*WorldCritic said:Fallout 3, I love the game, but if there are two things I have to beat the game over the head for, they are: too many fucking subway tunnels, and a very unoriginal story.
While New Vegas may not have had an incredible story, it was at least more original.
Believe it or not, the story actually fell apart at the end. It was pretty interesting and above average until then, and you didn't have to read the datalogs if you knew what the shitty lingo meant.duchaked said:I'm tempted to say FFXIII but I didn't see it all the way through
couldn't take anymore of it... :/ I really did try to like it
