Goddammit, someone got it in before me.

Yes, this. Absolutely this. Can you say 'Nintendo Hard', youngins? Anyone who played this and managed to beat any one of the levels is officially a god.

I'll be the first to admit this. I'm racist against inanimate objects. I will yell at a chair that dared bang my shins until the cows come home. But I'm eternally forgiving of human beings. I mention this only because video games, to me, appear to be a mixture of the two. Or, rather, video games are inanimate objects that can laugh at you.

There is not one single game I've ever played that I haven't also screamed at.

Bioshock pissed me off on numerous occasions due to the games massive ammo phobia. But through pure retarded determination, I did finally beat that elite bouncer to death with a wrench.

Modern Warfare 2.

Someone sitting in the room while I'm playing would think I'm the most evil hate-filled individual on the planet.

"FUCKING CAMPER OH MY GOD"
"Of course he's using a knife class, he's fucking terrible."
"Hurray spawn killed for the 7th time this game."

Left 4 dead when there was a glitch where the boomers could block doorways. Also modern warfare 2s campaign was just a chore, even on easy difficulty, I just couldn't get done with that game quick enough. Racing games also frustrate me once you get to the final levels.

I agree with the racing games, Gran Turismo 2 especially (it was one of the last racing games I played) getting the friggan licenses in that game was a killer.

Full Spectrum Warrior. Putting a foot out of cover is an automatic death sentence.

Haha I know exactly what you mean, I only had the first gran turismo, and I could never get anything better than a B license.

Ohhhh man, In Gran Turismo I just got the "Super" Class license like 2 or 3 months ago I've had the game since like 2002, it was rediculous, I think I might have broken one of my ps1 controllers doing it.

Edit: Gran Turismo 2

I just realize, upon visit of this thread and seeing my post, I placed all the cheats NBA Live 2005 played on you to defeat your team when you got ahead.

The other part to complete is, that to try fool you into trying again, it does cheats in your favor if you've found it hard to get past AI's defense, so when the end approaches, and until one minute and half or two after getting ahead for first time, the AI team starts to miss a lot of shots and you find that your favorite play with your pivot that didn't work mysteriously begins to work and that the period of wrist back when releasing the button means the shot will go in lasts for a lot of the jump, making it very easy to start chugging 3pointers.

So, what's the way to win matches?. Let the AI get ahead, by more than 10 points, then at some point near the end, some time in the last five minutes, start the three pointer and slam fest. But careful, you shall not get ahead until the last minute, or the AI starts the cheats so you lose.

It's so true that in superhuman, level at which the cheats work, I only won the matches I had trouble to keep up and lagged more than ten points behind.

So yeah. NBA Live will never return to my computer.
