Gordon Freeman. The man arrives late for work, someone stoled his suit helmet, opens a gate way and lets hordes of Aliens come trough, has to kill thousands of aliens on the way out, the rescue comes!! But they decide to shoot poor Freeman so he has to kill the Marines too, when he finnaly thinks his out he has to get back IN the facility, go trough a portal to an alien world, kill giant headcrabs and a weird alien with a really big head and when he thinks is finally over...some dude in a suit puts him in a stasis for 20 years...

Sucks to be him...

Not only that, but after all that effort, poor Gordon was probably expecting to come home for a nice and relaxing break from surviving hell. But nope, he finds out the earth has been taken over by aliens, martial law in instilled, and nobody even bothers to tell the poor bastard what's going on.

Luis Sera from RE4 god damn, i know he volunteered to research the stuff, but then he was forced to have it injected, he had it removed and then is constantly attacked by the ganados and then gets impaled most of that happening in one day

Gordon Freeman actually worked there. He became employee of the the month at one point and has a desk and everything. (Oh dera god I am a horrible, horrible nerd!)

Hmm, there is a few out there they wind up the creek with no form of paddle. Gordon is one, but he kicks so much arse, it is hard to sympathise with him. Plus he has a suit and a crowbar which makes his day much better.

I generally think people from survivor horror games. Usually thrown into a situation they don't know about, before getting hunted by the undead and forsaken. Couldn't pick any names out at the moment seeing as I don't play many.

Also, how about Ethan Thomas from Condemned. Dude just went to investigate a killing before getting framed and chased by some sort of deamon. Sucks to be him.

Nerd Power UNITE! He did work there for a while, as he seemed to be recognized.

Tricked into murdering his own wife and child by the God he was a slave to and stripped of every last shred of his pride and honour to the point where all he can feel is pure hatred and the only basic function he has left is the one to destroy.

Not to mention Dying and going to hell twice.

I would say that's one pretty shitty day...

Not 2 hours after her flute breaks, meteors fall from the sky, destroying everything she can see, and then lions with swords kill her parents and take her back as a slave where she spends the next few years fighting against other humans to stay alive before finally escaping.

Max Payne. The only part of the game, where he actually was pleased, was the sex scene. Why can't everybody just give him a break? He lost his family, got framed for murder, got backstabbed at least 7 times, was hunted my the mob and the police...I wonder what kind of shit they will put him through in Max Payne 3.
