Is it wrong i'm shooting screws at birds with my new Longbow?
How do you shoot screws with a longbow? How long are your screws?

You pull a longbow back about the length of your chest and 1 arm, and it's a 180lb draw (think: lifting 13.5 stone with two fingers)

...Are you sure that's a longbow you're thinking of?
Sorry to correct you, but a proper longbow is drawn back to behind the ear. Drawing with your right hand, your right knickles should be brushing against your right shoulder if you've pulled it back as far as it's supposed to go...
Sorry, you misunderstood (my bad): I know it's to the ear, I meant that you pull it back so that the distance between the bow and the string is equivelant to your chest and one outstreched arm (roughly).

But you agree that it's a bit impossible to fire a 1-inch screw off something that big and powerful?
Ah, yes - sorry now I get you! :)
But indeed; completely agree.

I once found a large envelope stuffed with porno magazines on a train when I was a kid. Unfortunately I was six years old at the time, and travelling with my grandmother. She made me leave them where they were.

i found a car.... Buried. in the middle of a forest. Inside a thicket of trees so tight it could not have been squeezed between any of the trees. Old trees too. I'm thinking maybe Dirk Gently had something to do with it.
I didn't find it, but I've come across something similar. There's an abandoned house near where my friend lives, and if you look between a crack in the ply-wood covered window, you can see a car.. in the middle of a room. Four walls, one puny window. One of lifes great mysteries.

I found a Zippo/Marlboro lighter at work in one of the boats, which although I have no need for it, is incredibly cool.
I found £70 underneath an empty packet of crisps out download this year, which paid for half my ticket.
Can't think of anything else, I don't find anything too weird, just cool.

Found a couple o' shellcasings once when hiking in a nearby dune area. Apparently there were some military exercises there a few weeks before.

My dad once found a wheel from a crashed WW2 plane though, and a dead buzzard, that apparently got poisoned, he got stuffed. We had it for yéars.

I once found a gba game lying in a field. That made me happy for a few days, until it stopped working.
Which game was it?

I gave to helmet to the museum and kept the sword on my wall.
Maybe it's a bit rude to ask, but do you mind showing us a picture of that sword? Pretty damn curious about it.

I sort of have a habit of constantly being on the lookout for interesting things on the ground and hidden in nooks and crannies.

As such I have stumbled upon

-An old steam machine from the 19th century

-An old bicycle

-Large pennies from the 1930's

-Lots and lots of money

-A hobo junkies um, lodgings which basically consisted of a filthy matress surrounded by stolen mail and empty needles in a forest clearing

And a friend of mine once found a GBA game and another friend of mine once found an N64 jump pack and then gave it to me the next day!

I have so gotta check out my attic tomorrow.

I found a Street Fighter II cartridge in one of my dressers once... no idea where it came from. I also found a Sandman action figure in a playground sand box... go figure.
And what a morose and dark sandbox it was.
Quite so :(
I only know what Sandman is (and read the entire series) because Death was hot...okay, I liked the series.

I'm talking about this dreary little man:

Somehow I figured you had the wrong Sandman lol
Oh yeah, I got he wrong Sandman. I was thinking of the Neil Gaiman comic series. The joke is a lot funnier now, and boy oh boy do I feel stupid.
I was thinking of the comic also.

A few things I've found before:

1. plenty of $20 notes lying about
2. Pokemon figurines lying under a tree
3. old rusted bike at the bottom of a river
4. Crystal pieces around a water fountain outside of a museum
5. The remote (countless times) :D
6. Fossilized remains of leaves in a few stones.

And that's about it... rather unimpressive. :/

I found a coco de mer seed in my garage a few months back.

It is the largest seed ever created by nature, grows on one plant on one island in the world and looks like an arse. It has no imperfections and is worth hundreds of pounds.

I also found my grandfather's tennis racket, which he had bent in a heat press. This meant when he went abroad, we would explain to the ladies he was a REALLY good professional tennis player. I found that and also came across his two banjos.

I once found an MP3 player, with no means to tell who is the owner I kept it. But I was always too lazy to buy batteries for it so I only ever used it as a data storage device.

When I moved in to my house about 6 years ago, I found a piece of paper under my wardrobe with a girl's name on it and a list of her likes and dislikes.

I was like, "the fuck?"

I found a Benchmade Switchblade under a seat of forklift once and just the other day I found 100 dollars lying on the side of the road.

I found an original volkwagon beetle three quarters buried in my friends backyard when fucking around with a scythe in the tall grass. Apparently his uncle had parked it there years ago and it had started settling into the boggy ground. I ruined the scythe when I hit it.
