None.

I literally only ever watch or read reviews for entertainment purposes. I enjoy reading/watching them just because I like hearing opinions on games, and observing different tastes and viewpoints.

Further... I don't understand how anyone can consider Yahtzee an actual game reviewer .. ? He doesn't review games, and if you considered it a "review", his videos are not even setup in a coherent review fashion. He's strictly entertainment, and a lot of his points are valid. If you know nothing about a game he does a video on, then chances are you won't learn to much about it. He just likes to use certain games as a pedestal for what he likes to criticize in the entire industry.

I use to think I had a pretty similar taste in games as Yahtzee, but I genuinely like gaming and the challenge I get, he's more in it for the interactive experience and having the chance to do silly pointless things like jumping out of a plane naked and landing ass first on a sun bathers face.

Personally, I care less about such freedoms and I wouldn't mind playing a repetitive game as long as it's challenging.

I like watching a wide variety of what people have to say about a game. I don't often agree with them, but it reminds me of the days when I had friends and would talk about games with them.

Even if something is terrible, I like looking at every aspect of a game and understanding what I would do differently.

Recently, I've fallen off with two people. Moviebob and Spoony. Spoony went to see a movie on his period, and instead of waiting to be in top condition, he went to Expendables and ripped it. Moviebob insulted the audience of Expendables instead of reviewing it. They are entitled to their opinions, and I'm NOT saying they have to like Expendables. But when people are looking for your honest opinion, you owe to them to give your best. Quality is what got them their audience in the first place.

Angry Joe and Bennett the sage. If Yahtzee likes a game I usually buy it and i tend to buy games recommended by my friends.

Don't know if this counts but for Movies I usually listen to Empire (Magazine and website), they've introduced me to so many movies I never considered I'm willing to forgive them for giving Twilight: Eclipse 4 stars.

Also JoBlo.Com, funny and relevant, knows what it's audience will listen to - gave Twlight 2/10.

None, people don't have good taste in games. How did ODST get 9/10 and MW2 10/10?
I try the games or choose by watching trailers, that way i choose by my self.

If you "trust" Yahtzee, you must have a very small collection.

None really.

Occasionally I'll agree with reviewers, but, rarely I'll base my opinion or spend money on a game due to them.

However, for the most part, reviewers seem to just pander to a retarded audience.

The wonderful people who post here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/index/326-User-Reviews] and my own feeling on the game.

That said, I will listen to OXM at times, or use it to get an over-view of the game I want to buy in question.

My friends. Since we are all media students, we know what is good and whats bad (they also have the same taste in stuff as me, so it helps)

I find my views mostly align with PC Gamer UK, although I disagree with their Mafia 2 review and score (should have been way higher).

I never bother with the Escapist reviews, because they only seem to provide 1 a week, which is pretty useless if you want to make a day-one purchase.

These days I don't think Eurogamer could review their way out of a paper bag, and while we're on the topic of shoddy sites I'd just like to say that N4G is the largest troll-fest of a gaming site that I've ever seen.

I go to IGN first, just to see what the features of the game are. Then I go across forums or ask for friends opinions on whether or not the key concepts of the game work.

Don't read or watch reviews.

No point, either I play a game myself and make my own mind up or I have no interest in the game so I don't care how it performs.

I am not going to buy a game based on a reviewers views, the same way I wouldn't snub one 'cos they thought it was bad.

I think saw is great, others hate it. So me saying how great it is won't make them like it, same works for games.

It seems a bit of a jerk circle, if I am reading/watching a review saying how great a game is, while I think it's great. It's like having a debate were nobody has a different point of view.

I watch Yahtzee but he doesn't really review games, he just tears them apart and pokes fun at them.
