Hmm you present a difficult question, is there a faction with an evil intention we haven't fought in a videogame yet?

Aliens, Nazis, Robots/Cyborgs, Goblins/evil mythological nasties. Have all been covered, there's no way of making war games any more interesting or original.

You do have a point. I was hoping that a war game coming out would perhaps make up some sort of evil intent, to eliminate this problem. Or invent an entirely different scenario. Like what if it was the apocalypse (like the second coming or whatever) and angels are trying to end all humanity or something, and we gather our military to try and fight them? Or just make really messed up enemies for the sake of being messed up. Like evil mutant grapes.

I just find it fairly amusing how in lego indiana jones (it came free with the 360. Please don't shoot me...) they don't call them Nazis. Instead they are called things like 'Enemy soldier' and variations of this.

seriously if anyone has seen sadies story in odst you will realise that the covenant in halo are complete bastards. If anyone diagrees with mw watch it on youtube and i can garantee it will make you cry like a lil *****.

The Covies were pretty much only included by name in Sadie's Story. All I saw in that story was that the Human race, unfortunatly, has a large number of people who (When faced with impending doom) seek revenge against those that wronged them.

The old lady nearly kills Sadie because she belives that the bank robbed her of all her money, Comissonar Kinsler killed Sadie's father because she pissed him off, The crazy cop shot multiple people for little annoyances that they did. The Angry mob ripped Kinsler to peices because they saw him as a crook.

If anything the story shows the Human race's animal like behavior in the face of chaos.

Neither of the two sides are evil as such (bit arguable I suppose though) but just fell out through political reasons etc etc etc

Sad reflection on Modern society, that we need an intrinsic "Bad Guy" to point the finger at.
