Any deity in H.P. Lovecraft's world can easily drive him insane, or obliterate his mind with unimaginable horrors the likes of which no one has ever seen before. Even if he could somehow infect them, the chances are extremely slim that he can have the strength to infect an Outer God with anything. Give Nyarlathotep some time with Mr. Mercer and we will see who tops who in the end.

I'd like to think Ed would kick is ass, but here's the problem...

Once reanimated by the Blacklight virus, every particle of Alex's form, including his clothing and equipment, becomes comprised entirely of biomass. This substance can be manipulated at will. He can absorb organic matter of other living creatures, converting it into more biomass. This process sustains and regenerates Alex's health and is referred to as 'consuming'. In addition, Alex can consume individuals, absorbing their knowledge, skills, and even their physical form, which he can call upon at will. He can manipulate his physical form to create weapons to attack his enemies, generate armor to defend himself, and take on the appearance of another person to disguise himself.

Wouldn't Ed need to touch Zeus to transmute him? Also Ed might be able to transmute the biomass but Blacklight would remain, all it needs to do is find more biomass. But on a scary note, Alex Mercer with Alchemy *shudder*

Cole McGrath! Wasn't this battle already fought? Yahtzee made the two of them put on women's underwear for god's sakes, and Cole still came out on top! Plus, Cole in Infamous 2 looks pretty bad ass, so my money's on Cole.

However, I think I'll buy Prototype now. Clearly there is lots of fun to be had with Mr. Alex Mercer as well!

He can absorb all forms energy and also release it, causing things to burn the hell up. If he could release enough to burn every last cell of Mercer, there ya go. That's my vote.

How about the Hulk (which prototype is practically a carbon copy of) wearing the Venom symbiote. Essentially the 2 original sources of Alex Mercer's powers. I'm sure the hulk is enough but the Hulk wearing Venom would make me happy.

I think Marvel did a what if where that actually happened.

You're probably right. I know there have been a few characters to wear Venom, and Hulk was more than likely one of them.
