(sorry in advance my speling sucks)Ok i havent read through all the posts yet but to all the wolvereen is indestructible people have you ever read the comics up to the point he gives cyclops the musuamura blade to kill him with if he ever goes crazy? For those of you who don't know its a sword that can cut through his skeleton and cancels out his regenaritce abilites ergo not indestructible. Also as constantly stated in xmen comics if you cut off his head he can no longer regenerate.
In refrence to someone who can kill any human which would probibly include wolvereen and Mercer id say Light Yagami given the death note can kill anyone.

Alex Mercer is dead - all he is now is a living virus that consumes. Which has latched on to it's first consumed memory as it's true one. The puddle is the infection - it consumes the crow and proliferates itself back into what it think is the true form.Medimorpho said:

Human Torch could be a choice - can burn the crap out the infection and if he's flame Mercer can't touch him (don't know jack about comic backstories) failing that he'd be fast enough to dodge Mercer's attacks.
Anyone whose power crosses over into the actively supernatural should be able to manage.

More importantly why would Zeus even bother with any of that of that nonsense? Perhaps within the initial five minutes of the fight where Dante is taking his whipfist and blade arm like a boss; but Mercer is insanely intelligent and tactical. Probably not even Kratos or Superman. Kratos would probably die after a long and fucking awesome fight (I don't remember him surviving a nuke to the face, and Mercer is stronger + faster as well) and they'd probably go at it forever with Supes.
Maybe the Hulk? Nahh, it would probably end with the Hulk calming down and Mr. Hoodie walking away in some cool manner.
