Tali was the only one who died. I chose Zaeed to be in charge of the first squad, seeing how he's a trained mercenary and all I figured he'd have that part down, found out the hard way he's bad at his job.

No one. Did all the Loyalty missions, and made sure I assigned the proper people to the proper jobs.
Now we have to worry about getting everyone to live in ME3...I reeaaally don't want an entire species to die on me.

Mordin, Jack, Legion, and... I honestly don't remember. I didn't upgrade the ship because I literaly fell asleep doing the planet scanning. Second run through just Mordin then third run no one.

My First play through my character lost no-one. He was able to find enough common ground with everyone to pull through. He even had Dr. Solus in the final run with him and he survived.

He was, however, too late to save his crew.

My second play through my character lost Jack. Throughout the game Jack proved to be nothing more then a childish and selfish wild card. My character could not reach her and when she threatened a fellow crew mate it was the last straw. My character was done dealing with her.

She(my character) saved her crew (Mordin escorted them to safty.)

Both of these character I played through from mass effect 1 to 2.

First time, only Mordin (and I promptly did it again and no one died)

Second(ish) time I may have (did) planned it out so certain people would die >.> which meant Jacob, Miranda, Legion (though that was cuz I didn't have enough Renegade to get him and Tali to get along, so I decided to sacrifice him so he wouldn't report on Tali) and um... Jack and Zaeheed however you spell that.

I didn't lose anyone on my first try, can't remember who I sent where, except I do remember taking Samara through the bug room and also brought Grunt with me. Going through my second playthrough and hope nobody dies this time as well, I'd be very unhappy if they did after my first successful attempt.

No One!

Well, the first time Mordian and Legion died, Mordian because I didnt put him in-charge of leading the other people back to the ship, dang common sense, and Legion...I dont know why?

No-one died in my first playthrough. In playthroughs since, I go out of my way to get people to die, so I can see how it impacts ME3.

Nobody died. I had loyalty of everyone and I saved my entire crew. And I've done it more than once....like 6 or 7 times probably. Yes I am very proud of myself.

i had everyone loyal before i went after the derelict reaper cept legion of course and i got his mission done almost right away before all the crew got kidnapped had all the ship upgrades so no one got popped on the infill and no one got killed during the mission so it wasn't so much a suicide mission as it was one where the whole team had their work cut out for them

was a bit touch and go with Tali crawling up the pipe she almost got baked a couple of times there but the widowmaker rifle came through for me

During my first run I had everyone's loyalty mission done and then some. But Tali met a rocket to the face after crawling around in a tube. It was rather sad.

I lost Zaeed, Tali and Mordin. I didn't understand the distraction part, so I sent Zaeed and he was a lousy leader. I lost Mordin and Tali because I apparently took to long on the final boss and didn't understand that a salarian with a pistol scares collectors off a bunch of unarmed humans the same as a krogan with a shotgun.
I then replayed the suicide mission and lost no one.

Garrus, Legion, and the crew. It was astonishing how awful I felt for having let that happen, so I reloaded a save and redid it with no deaths.

If there's one thing I'm annoyed at the game design about, it's that it was almost entirely luck-based. Screw that.
It's not, really--you have to put the right teammates onto the right squads.
