Who DOES Deserve the Fame they Have?

I was reading the other topic [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.147659], and I realised that the question 'Who does deserve their fame?' is perhaps more interesting. Really, when you think about it, not a great deal of people do.

So, for my answer... hmm. I'll go for Michael Jackson. Not a very original answer, but I seriously believe that he does deserve it. Honestly, I think he revolutionised the entire concept of 'pop music', and come on: the songs he makes are pretty great. Yes, he went a bit off-the-rails at the end, but overall I believe he deserves the fame he recieved whilst he was alive.
