No. Not at all. There are countless great games already out, and with 2010 looking promising, I'm genuinely excited about the Wii's future.

I dont own one, but I sure regret all YOU people buying one. Not only is it a piece of shit, but now its a popular piece of shit. Its starting to take away game that should be on other systems because of it... Monster Hunter 3 anyone?
Why is the Wii not deserving of Monster Hunter 3, exactly?

Metroid Prime 3, Metroid: Other M, Madworld, Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia 2, Muramasa, SSBB, Okami, RE4 and Umbrella/Darkside Chronicls, Mario Galaxy/Kart, No More Heroes, Trauma Center, TATSUNOKO VS CAPCOM!

And you guys think the Wii sucks.
I still have a great time playing my Wii. It's not just for Twilight Princess and Corruption. There are tons of other games that are worth it. Maybe you just need some FRIENDS to play with, seeing as how most people mention only getting the Wii for single player games. Sure, I'd like to have an Xbox for when I'm not on campus, but all my friends at home have games as well. EternalLegend has the right idea.

My sister got one and I saw there was an option to check when you'd actually played it. She'd spent 15 hours playing it since she got it almost 2 years ago. To people going on about the Wii's 1st party titles let me just say I never met a Zelda game I didn't like but what I think is we shouldn't support the Wii so that Nintendo have to pull a sega and start releasing their games on all platforms. Although if Metroid went to PS3 and Zelda went to the 360 I think it would lead to some serious fanboy confusion. For the record I'm an xbox fanboy so let me finish by saying PS3 SUCKS.(yes I'm aware each console has their merits)

/raises his hand.

I just can't divide my disposable income between two consoles, one of which that offers much more in every department. I've been thinking about selling it for some time now, but I'd feel bad.

Meh, No More Heroes is one of the more grown up games of the generation, and MadWorld is one of the more immature but fun ones. I keep Wii Sports for when girls come over and wants to do something other than watch a movie or have sex. Also, Epic Mickey looks utterly amazing.

I'm happy with the Wii :)

My sister got the Wii for Christmas, and she regrets nothing at all. If I had bought it, I'm sure I would regret it by now.

YES. It has been sitting collecting dust under my bed for well over a year now. The only time I ever played Wii was when I went over to a friends place and we would play Boom Blox (now that is a fun game), but now that I've moved away from my friends and therefore cannot go over to there house at a moments notice the stupid thing is worthless. Any games that would be any good to play solo you can probably buy on either the PS3 or 360 where both the graphics and the online is sooo much better.

The abilty to play GH on a stage with a bunch of freinds at church kinda gives it a reason to disgrace my household so I will keep it on that one aspect...

God yes.

That little white box was and still is over-priced. I sold it and the grand total of 5 games I had for it (they were the AAA's by the way, and were crap compared to any game I owned on the PC at the time) for the same price I bought the console for.

Couldn't even be arsed to haggle.

Me and a boddy bought the Wii together on release day. So far we have not turned on the Wii for 712 days. That's right, we keep track, and it's been nearly two years since the last time we played it. So yeah, I kind of regret it. I hate the Wii not because of lack of good games (because there are good games), but due to the fact that almost all of those good games would have been much better on another console. Other than Sports games and the odd title or two, none of the great Wii games actually feature the motion control as the central design scheme and sell point (and most importantly, most of those games would work perfectly well without motion controls), making the Wii feel kind of like an underpowered machine that looks surprizingly ugly for running current gen games on big screen TVs.

PS: I later went and bought a PS3 and he got an X360. Actually he bought 3 X360s; one RRODed on him past warrenty, another RRODed during warrenty and the last one was bought as a back-up in case the other one RRODs again.

No. I still go back to play MP3, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, and even DBZ Tenkaichi 3 and Animal Crossing every once in a while. Plus, I want to get the Metroid Prime Collection, and the Pikmin games when they re-release them.

EDIT: Not to mention the virtual console.

Never, it allowed me to play Another Code: R

One of the greatest games of all times, with brilliant story. I love the Wii, just for that.

I bought it for Mario Kart Wii, I play it occasionally but I think the weight of the dust on it is more than the weight of the Wii itself :S

Wait your saying he actually bought a spare 360!? He couldn't just wait to have the 2nd one replaced incase it broke? or just bought a new one if the 2nd one breaks?

My boyfriend and I kind of Wiigret it. (Oh snap!)

Nah, I don't feel like I have enough games for it, plus it would take away precious online time from my PS3 and 360.
Damn me for owning all consoles and not knowing how to multitask!!

I bought some kiddy games and sadly, I really love Wii Sports. I like to bowl, what can I say?

Nope. My biggest regret is buying an Xbox 360. My Wii takes over with PBR,SSBB,MPT, No More Heroes, Animal Crossing, Muramasa, Fire Emblem, Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Mad World, Super Monkey Ball, Battalion Wars 2, House of the Dead, Overkill, Wii Sports Resort, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic and the Black Knight and The Conduit. And because of those games, my Xbox 360 is a $349.99 dust collector.
