And Dane Cook if I'm in the mood for comedy that doesn't require me to think.

66% Dead :(.

Mitch died while I was in Japan...made me feel like it was my fault.

Jim Gaffigan (Reminds me of me if I was an older, fat, white guy. None of which I think are bad things)

Richard Pryor (One of the greatest comedians of all time)

Eddie Murphy (I love him and his Pryor impersonations. Both are great)

George Carlin (One of the greatest comedians of all time. When he died I died a little.)

Mitch Hedberg (See George Carlin.)

Jo Koy (Don't make him angry!)

Louis Black (I love Political Humor)

Stephen Colbert (I love...oh yeah see Louis Black)

Louis CK (He is so damn loveable.)

Brian Regan (He is...damnit...see Louis CK)

Eddie Izzard (He's the only man I know that could pull off a fantastic comedy routine in drag.)

Chris Rock (I'm not sure why but he makes me feel good)

Titus (His family stories caused me to laugh till I cried)

Gabriel Iglasias (Fantastic Personality and Great Voices/Stories)

Dave Chappelle (To me he is one of modern times funniest people. I don't know how many of his sketches he personally wrote but that show almost caused me to crap my pants a few times. I've never in my life laughed as hard as I did watching it.)

Katt Williams (I like that he isn't too 'bawler' to not make fun of himself)

Off topic, am I the only one who thinks Dane Cook isn't funny at all?
QFT.

I really just don't find him funny, but everyone seems to love him which baffles me. But eh, whatever floats your boat.

Lewis Black, George Carlin, Patton Oswald, Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedberg, Jon Reep, The Amazing Jonathon, Kyle Cease, and that is all that I could think of right now.
EDIT: Arj Barker.
DOUBLE DANM EDIT: John Caparulo and Daniel Tosh.

I'm fond of the older comedians who could keep you laughing without dipping into profanity. Bill Cosby's Himself is timeless, for instance. Groucho Marx, too.
Leaving that aside? The Firesign Theater. More of an acting company that specialized in surrealist comedy, but their stuff is right up my street.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing my man, Rus-Rus-Rus-Rus-Russel Peters!!!"

Honestly his only good acts were Comedy Now and Outsourced.

It took 89 posts for someone to mention Bill Bailey. I'm... Frankly I'm disgusted.

Also, Dylan Moran and Jimmy Carr are good. I like Ricky Gervais if I'm in the mood for him, but not all the time.
