I'd say this one is pretty straightforward.

And before you start raging about 'another stupid Avengers thread' or something similar, there are a lot of threads in the forums - pick another one of those and ignore an obviously Avengers related thread. SHEESH!

For me: Best Avenger is either Hulk (because scene-stealer) or Black Widow (because <url=http://nerdbastards.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/black-widow-avengers-scarlettjohansson.jpg>Scarlett <url=http://bestmoviesevernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/avengers-movie-black-widow-clip.png>Johansson) . I love them both and can't pick the best between the two. :3

Anyways, your turn Escapists!

Captcha: None, because PubClub

Edit: Well it seems that Avengers threads aren't allowed on The Escapist. Or maybe the forum gods just decided to eat my thread.
This is rather disappointing.

Without seeing the movie, I have to say Spider-Man, because he's my favorite super hero ever, and he is a member of The Avengers in the comics.

If we're going by the film, then I can't answer that because the cruel gods have determined that I must wait another week before seeing it.

Iron Man, because he is probably the most interesting and flawed of the characters.

Black Widow because...well.. you said it.

Are we going by the films or the comics? And if we are going by the comics then are we going by active rosters or all hereos who have been part of the Avengers. Than if we are going with the active are we going with The Avengers, the New Avengers or the Secret Avengers? See comics can get crazy complicated.

At any rate I'm going to choose either Wolverine, The Thing or Spider Man from the New Avengers or War Machine from the Secret Avengers.

From the films, Iron Man. Robert Downy Jr. is really good at Iron Man and makes narcissism pretty interesting.

Red Hulk is pretty cool too. Hulk with big guns? Sounds good to me.

I've always liked Iron Man's style and sense of humour so I'd say him or Thor simply by virtue of being a Large Ham. As well as the Black Sabbath song.

Tony: "Let's do a role call. We have two master assassins, a super soldier, a demigod, and then there's me. And you've managed to piss off every one of us."

Loki: "I have an ahmy."

Tony: "We have a Hulk." (chuckles)

I don't really read comics, so maybe Iron Man is a lot different there (I've heard the Ultimate Iron Man is a drunken bastard). But for the upcoming movie, Iron Man because he's just a sarcastic sonava. (chuckles)

Not read the comics, only seen the movies (except the Hulk movie).

It's a tie between Thor and Iron Man, they were both awesome and funny in their own movies and The Avengers movie.

Hulk was pretty funny as well of course, that particular Loki and Hulk scene. >.>

Thor.

Because he's a god.

Better, because he's a pagan god. I approve of movies about pagan gods - I'd like to see more of Thor's quality. ^^

If we're talking as in characters, then I'd say Tony Stark. He's probably the most human and easiest to relate to (with his flaws and struggles, most of us can't relate to being a genius billionaire playboy).

If we're talking about pure ass-kicking potential, then Thor. Because, as Bara ninja'd me up there, he's a god.

Just going by the movie then Hulk by far, he gets the best holy shit moments and laugh your ass off moments in the film.

Uh if im going by the comics though, I cant really say Hulk since even though he was a founding member he left after a couple of issues and hasnt been with them since. Maybe Iron Man

Hawkeye. I'm sorry, but I don't care who's a God, or who turns into a super strong rage monster. Hawkeye looks at the fight that it takes those kinds of people to win, and joins in with a bow and arrow. A fucking bow and arrow.

He is win made flesh. He is the Jack Churchill (look him up) of the Marvel universe.

Thor. Being a student of Dark Age History, there's really no contest for me. And he's frakking badass

The Incredible Hulk.

I have Planet Hulk and WWH to thank for my love of the big green giant.
