Who is Best Avenger?

I'd say this one is pretty straightforward.

And before you start raging about 'another stupid Avengers thread' or something similar, there are a lot of threads in the forums - pick another one of those and ignore an obviously Avengers related thread. SHEESH!

For me: Best Avenger is either Hulk (because scene-stealer) or Black Widow (because <url=http://nerdbastards.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/black-widow-avengers-scarlettjohansson.jpg>Scarlett <url=http://bestmoviesevernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/avengers-movie-black-widow-clip.png>Johansson) . I love them both and can't pick the best between the two. :3

Captain America is by far probably the best person out of the whole lot. The whole self sacrificing for the greater good and total steadfast defense of freedom and liberty thing? You can't much argue with that. Hes also the best force multiplier of the team since he directs the action better then the others. If I had to choose one to have my back, it would be him. Probably the best in a fight is the Hulk because he seems to be basically indestructible. The best to hang out with would probably be Thor or Tony because they seem like they know how to party.

Gotta go with Cap. He's got my favorite movie out of the bunch, and frankly, I enjoyed him so much BECAUSE he wasn't snarky or whiny or arrogant.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Iron Man and Spider-Man and all the rest of the more recent Marvel movies, but with Cap, I was just rooting for him every second.

And, as others have said, he wasn't the overly-patriotic douchebag that he so easily could have been.

For me it's probably Captain America. I just sort of find him the most relate-able out of the group. Although Iron Man is pretty cool as well.

Depends...In terms of sheer power? I'd probably say Thor. In terms oh just being awesome I'd say Iron man, Hawk, or Hulk.

The Avenger I'm most familiar with is Iron Man, since that's what I've read from my dad's old collection. Incidentally, Iron Man seems to have had the most success as a character story out of the recent Marvel Bunch movies.

As a pure concept, I'm more partial to Hawkeye since I fucking love archery.
And Thor is awesome just because Norse mythology is made of pure win.

So really, I can't choose between all of my biases, though for the movies, I think Iron Man will win out solely because Robert Downy Jr. took being a narcissistic asshole and made it fucking hilarious.
That is NOT easy to do in acting.
The line between "irritating" and "likeable" is very easy to cross.
