Not just space military, a member of the Space Marines, the troops who would be designated to be transported by the Space Navy to be deposited on the Place Where Shit Happens. Hence, the Master Chief can't be suggested as a Space Marine, because he works for the Space Navy. Like wise, a Space Bounty Hunter is also an invalid option.

Personally, I'd go with Rico. You should all know who I'm talking about.
