I thought about it, and it all comes down to the Doomguy, because he has 3 extremely strong arguments.First, he never has any contact to anything Human after Hells invasion begins, he never rests or has a short moment of silence,has no backup and does everything by himself.
Second, he has an awesome Comic Book and third he has a Chainsaw.
Beat that Master Chief.

Once you get over how epic his name is, he's an eight-foot tall genetically engineered superhuman with two hearts and the ability to spit acid and absorb people's memories by eating their brains. Oh, and he has a pair of sci-fi electric Wolverine claws that can slice straight through any armour. And a jetpack. The only way he could possibly be more awesome is if he was a ninja who is skilled enough to suddenly vanish into the shadows despite being eight feet tall. Oh, hang on - he is. So basically, total badass with the best name ever.

Starship Troopers was written in 1959 by Robert Heinlein. Warhammer 40K didn't start until at least 20 years later. Maybe you meant it the other way around.
