The man-- Erm, ghoul-- Erm, FEV created mutant is a psychopath with a tree on his head. Look me in the virtual eyes and tell me that's not totally awesome.

Wait, I got another: Battletoads. You remember them? They were big in the 90s.

The Battletoads got big for one reason - Nintendo Power. That magazine hyped that game for months to the point that I thought it was the second coming of Mario or something. Of course ten minutes after renting the game and dying 8 times we all knew better.

Well, you have to admit that battletoads could represent the "hardcore" players.

Beating the game without gamegenie(Don't know if I spelled it right) was one of the biggest challenges of the gaming history.

Anyhoo... I would go with every boss fight from No More Heroes as some sort of multi-limbed, hideous conglomerate creature, but since that's not an option, I'll just have to stick with Henry. Badass and Irish. Tick. Tick.

And I know Fable II isn't really obscure, but 'Reaver' is one of the best designed and voice acted characters in a game ever. He genuinely made me laugh out loud! Go Stephen Fry!
