Cole Phelps from L.A. Noire
Extremely well written and overlooked
Stefan Bekowsky was the single greatest character from that game. Everybody's favourite Pole, but nobody remembers him!
The guy from the first desk? He was okay. I actually really liked the Homocide guy (I can't seem to remember many names). Roy Earl made a pretty good villian, though. He may have been corrupt but I thought his views on drug addicts and the market were interesting.
I swear this game's writing doesn't get the love it deserves.
Rusty Galloway, the fat, irresponsible fuck. Reminded me a lot of
Life On Mars' DCI Gene Hunt, actually. Though, at the end of the Homicide cases, I did feel bad for him. He was a genuinely good guy, just a drinker and a violent man.
Roy Earle I totally agree with you on. Phelps wanted zero tolerance on drugs, Earle wanted to manipulate the market so that they could keep tabs on the major players, and make sure nothing REALLY bad happened.
Stefan was my favourite though. I have no idea why, but he just gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever he and Phelps spoke. I would totally give that guy a high five.
