As i said previously in those threads. I'll buy it but never play it, never rip the foil off it, just put it on my shelf as a symbol of.. well not sure what of yet, but i'll come up with something. Maybe i'll even make a fancy case with glass for it so it won't gather dust and in 300 years someone will find it?

Absolutely nothing about this game appeals to me. I won't be buying it.

To be honest, from the footage I saw it looks completely generic and will get by on charm and harking back to FPS's of yore, whence Ironsights and regenerating health were still far away concepts. It looks like a Prey or the Darkness knock off to me. I played Duke when I was a kid and it new and "adult" was totally taboo. But then again so was Leisure Suit Larry and I'm not pre-ordering his sequels.

I am probably going to buy it, but still i have an advantage. I am going to play the demo before some you. Steam sales rule.
I still cannot fathom why exclusive demos are considered a good thing.

I probably wont be buying it. Not because I dont want to, but because I can't afford to buy any brand new games ATM. Hopefully my brother will buy it though, he's not a big gamer really, but he is a big fan of the duke.

Why would I spend $50 on a game I haven't played, which has no nostalgic value? (I hated Duke Nukem 3D.) The risk/reward for me is just too high.

I played a couple way back when, but I'm not in the over-hyped fan area.

I'm gonna Steam demo it for my final decision but I'm a big fan of Borderlands and love Gearbox's sense of humor so I'm optimistic about it.

Hypersensitive, politically correct enforcement fascists, politicians. If Hillary Clinton threw her monthly gift out of place for purple blood in an NHL game this will piss her off, it might even offend her to death.

As a fan of Duke Nukem 3D (was actually my first FPS), I'm totally going to buy it, even if its sub-par.

I'll pass. Seriously, unless my friends tell me it is great, I really don't see how it could interest me.

I won't. If it's as inappropriate as I've heard, I'll never be in suitable company long enough to even get through half a level.
Might look into it, read reviews and stuff, but won't seriously consider it.

Well...I'm not. I've never played a Duke Nukem and not really into FPS.

I suppose it's nice to have bought a running gag, but I'll measure Duke Nukem Forever like every other game. I never played the original games, but if this game is fun in an over-the-top way like Gurren Lagann in the action anime genre, sure, why not. So far it looks like there's a lot of little eastereggs and "gameplay freedom" like aiming when pissing, drawing stuff on the whiteboard, kicking the head of the killed boss into outer space, etc. If the trailer doesn't lie and the core gameplay is solid, sure, why not.

Me, because it just doesn't appeal to me from the game play I have seen so far.
