Mostly MeloDeath (Melodic Death Metal in it's full name) and it's almost entirely swedish.

Arch Enemy, which makes the mad though successful choice of having a woman death growling.

Blinded Colony, which is somewhat more melodic and has the most ridiculous looking vocalist ever.

Metal = Good. I love a lot of different genres of music, but I think metal is my favorite.

Black, Death, Doom, Thrash (My name is a thrash metal song), Heavy etc.
I will always love black progressive metal though.
Note: Electric Wizard is one of the best bands ever along with Destroyer 666.

By the way- I don't think that all metal is shit. I know that there are as many variations of "metal" as there are of rap, and with that much variety, not all of it is satan-worshipping beardy men screaming over distorted guitars. I just wish that people would understand that in the same vein, not all rap is a black american guy using autotune and talking about his guns and hoes.

Obscure enough, I suppose. I've never really liked death metal, black metal, trash metal or any of that. Just some Sabbath-esque doom grind.

You a mutant? But I love Jesu I myself listen to a little bit of post metal like pelican and isis but I do like Boris aswell, they do alot of different stuff from droney doom sound to the classic shoegaze.

I'm into the whole metal scene but I don't know enough bands to really have an informed opinion. Going to have to work on that in Uni.

Damn right I'm a metal fan and no-one is gonna say anything about it. I mostly like goregrind and other extreme metal, along with some folk and power metal. Carcass and Windir are currently my 2 favorite bands. Im sad because i've never been to a single show. The scene here is too small for most bands, 'cept Rotting Christ, to bother coming here. I've seen some tiny local show though. I also seem to like alot of NSBM for some reason, especially Absurd and Kroda.
